The Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation celebrates 25 years and the 22nd annual Sandy Sprint Philadelphia 5K.
On Saturday, April 25, 2026, SROCF will host its 22nd annual Sandy Sprint Philadelphia 5K un/Walk at the Navy Yard. The morning kicks off with the opening ceremony at 7:40 a.m., followed by the 5K at 8:30 a.m.
When registering for the 5K, runners and walkers are encouraged to create an online fundraising page to help share SROCF’s mission, spread the message of the Sandy Sprint, and help them reach their goal!
To register for the 5K, participants can register and donate here. Registration for adults is $40, $30 for children under 12, and $55 for those wishing to bring their furry friends for the run!
The opening is not one to miss with a warm welcome from NBC10 Anchor and Emmy Award-winning journalist, Erin Coleman. The Philly celebration will follow with the national anthem performed by Jessy Kyle and a special musical performance from the Philadelphia Boys Choir. Several Philly favorites will be in attendance to help pump up the energy for attendees throughout the morning. Keep an eye out for appearances by a Ben Franklin impersonator, a Rocky lookalike, the Mummers Fralinger String Band, the Positive Movement Drumline, and Philly Girls Jump.
