The Sandy Sprint is back, and this time at the Jersey Shore! The Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation brought this event to the beach seven years ago to raise more awareness for ovarian cancer in a larger community. Ever since the shore community has welcomed the event with open arms, the 7th annual Sandy Sprint Sea Isle 5K and Family Fun Walk will be at Excursion Park (JFK Blvd and The Promenade) in Sea Isle City, New Jersey, on July 22, 2023. It is a day full of action, hope, and connection.
The event will feature a 5K, Family-Fun walk, Survivor Ceremony, and performances from Ashli Rice. Q102 Radio Host and In-Stadium Host for the Philadelphia Union, Rachel Viggiano (Rach On The Radio), will be hosting the event. The Sandy Sprint is an event that started in Philadelphia that has been happening annually for 19 years and counting. These events have always been full of great spirit and passion to put an end to ovarian cancer!
It will be a great day raising funds for ovarian cancer research. 1 in 78 women will have an ovarian cancer diagnosis in their lifetime.
