Monday, May 8

  • Make sure to check out The Museum of the American Revolution’s special exhibit, Black Founders: The Forten Family of Philadelphia. There are over 100 different artifacts to look at! Find out more info here.

Tuesday, May 9

  • Yoga on the Banks is back for a new spring season! Come down to the Schuylkill for a yoga class with a view! This is also a donation-based class, so give what you can. These classes fill up fast so make sure to register here.
  • Annie DiRusso, a Nashville based indie-rock artist born in NYC, will be performing at the Fillmore! Doors will open at 7:00 p.m. Make sure to grab your tickets beforehand!

Wednesday, May 10

  • The FDR Park Boathouse will have a guided kayak tour of Pattison Lagoon, Edgewood Lake. This is a pay what you can event! Find out more details here, and register here
  • Come on down to Citizens Bank Park for Mystery Theme Night at the Phillies! The first 1,000 spectators will receive a mystery bag. Make sure to buy through this link! 

Thursday, May 11

  • The smash Broadway hit The Play That Goes Wrong is coming to Philadelphia! This hilarious comedy is sure to make you laugh! Make sure to grab your tickets to this murder mystery before it sells out. 
  •  It’s almost strawberry season! Head over to the Fairmount Farmers Market from 3-7:00 p.m. for your pick of fruits and vegetables. Find out more here

Friday, May 12

  • The long-awaited Eras Tour is finally coming to Philadelphia! Taylor Swift will play three nights at Lincoln Financial Field starting on Friday! Tickets are going fast so make sure to get them here!
  •  The East Passyunk Community Center will be partnering with Ss. Neumann Goretti for an art auction. The proceeds will support programming for kids and seniors at the center. You can preview the art here, and purchase your tickets here
  • Want to learn salsa and bachata? Join the Fairmount Park Conservatory for a lesson! Experience culture and meet new people every second and fourth Friday of the month! Get your tickets here, and pay what you can!

Saturday, May 13

  • Wizards and Witches skate is back at Dilworth Park from 1:30-3:30 p.m.! Enjoy an afternoon of magic, and costumes are encouraged. Find out more here.
  • The Kensington Derby & Arts Festival is back! It “celebrates human-powered transit, neighborhood artists, and local businesses in Kensington. Read more about their mission here.

Sunday, May 14

  • Head over to Capriccio Café and Bar for cocktails and a live performance from the jazz ensemble, Vibe-a-Delphia. There will be additional seating on the lawn next to the venue! Find out more info here.
