This Week In Philly February 13-19

Good morning Philly, love is in the air can you feel it? With Valentine’s Day happening this week we’ve found the best events happening in our city! Read through and see how you will be spending your day of love as well as the rest of the week.

Monday 2/13

  • Bring your gal pals out for a day of shopping and Happy Hour.  Peddler’s Village has a Galentine’s Day featuring different shops and restaurants. There will also be a chance to win prizes and giveaways when you post photos and use #pvsharethelove.

Tuesday 2/14

  • Two Robbers Fishtown is having their Make Love Market. With tickets, you’ll be able to take part in the couples mixology class and shop local vendors. They’re also encouraging guests to stay for a romantic dinner with burgers and drinks. 
  • Couples, friends, and just about everyone is invited to attend Alterra Productions’ Valentine’s Day Variety Show. It will be a night of unique entertainment to liven up your Valentine’s Day.
  • Winter is still among us sadly, however, this means The Blue Cross RiverRink remains open. They’re having a Valentine’s Sweetheart Skate night with live music, a rose for your significant other, and more! 
  • Spend your Valentine’s day admiring art with a loved one at Magic Gardens. During their Valentine’s Day Tour, you’ll learn about the love story of Isaiah Zagar, creator of Magic Gardens, and his wife Julia. Guests will also be able to take a look at some of the more intimate and romantic aspects of their galleries. 

Wednesday 2/15

  • Craft Hall and Saved Me Rescue have come together to create Pup With A Twist. This 21+ event will include painting, cocktails, and pups! There will also be a full bar available and donations will be made towards Saved Me Rescue. 
  • Ariel Posen will be continuing his solo tour with Jordan Live and he’s headed for Philly. He’ll be performing some of his R&B, rock & roll, and pop songs at City Winery.

Thursday 2/16

  • DJs Alyssa and Caitlyn from Unicorn Party are coming to the lanes of Brooklyn Bowl. Their Sugar and Spice Galentine’s Day Party will feature some of the best hits from popular female artists like Dua Lipa and Doja Cat. Bowl, eat, drink, and vibe out to your fave songs.

Friday 2/17

  • Mardi Gras is right around the corner, celebrate early with Le Cat Cafe Philly. Their Pawdi Gras Game night has sold out, but don’t worry you can still attend! Call the cafe at (267)800-7877 and let them know how big your party is and they’ll get you in.
  • Lunay will be performing at NOTO Philly this weekend! Get your tickets and get ready to dance to some of his most popular reggaeton songs. 

Saturday 2/18

  • Moshulu is hosting a 80s vs. 90s Hip Hop Throwback Boat Party this weekend. Good vibes, drinks, and the top 40 Hip Hop throwbacks of course.
  • It’s hard to eat just one because they’re just so addicting, yes we’re talking about Girl Scout Cookies. Iron Hill Brewery is having its Girl Scout Cookies and Beer event. Guests will be enjoying a flight of 7 beers paired with 7 different cookies. They’ve even got milk and cookies for the kiddos!
  • The Philly Chocolate, Wine, and Whiskey Festival will be taking place at the Philly Expo Center this Saturday! There will be a variety of delicious and decadent chocolates to sample as well as unlimited wines and whiskey.

Sunday 2/19

  • Join Victory Taproom Philly for a four-course beer dinner. During the PHL Brew’d Beer Dinner guests will be given appetizers, an entree, dessert, and ice-cold beer to top it all off!
  • Did you get over a breakup recently or simply just fed up with all the Valentine’s Day mush? Evil Genius Beer Company is hosting their Single Ladies and She-Wolves: An Anti-Valentine’s Day Drag Brunch. Get your tickets and jam out to the best breakup songs from Beyonce, Shakira, and more while enjoying a delicious breakfast.
