Good morning Philly! Wow, January flew right by us. Let’s make the last week of January a fun one. We found some cool events for you, check out what’s happening this week.
Monday 1/30
- Don’t feel like making dinner tonight? Han Dynasty is having its first tasting of the year. With tickets you’ll be able to taste 15 different courses and drinks will also be available to purchase.
- Calling all writers and those interested in Poetry! Plays and Players is having a Quigs Poetry Night. During the event, there will be surprise poets and readers, free writing prompts, and drinks by Keith Conallen.
Tuesday 1/31
- Think you’re the ultimate marvel fan? Sam We Are Events is hosting a Marvel Trivia at Monster Vegan. The top two teams win prizes, reserve a spot, and see if that could be you and your friends!
- Continue celebrating the New Year with the Germantown ArtHaus’ New Year’s Silent Auction Paty. During the event, there will be music, door prizes, and more.
Wednesday 2/1
- Grab your besties and reserve a spot for the Kendra Scott and Main Line Center for Laser Surgery’s Ladies Night. Reserve your free spot and have the chance to see Kendra’s spring collection and learn about the different procedures Dr. Lee has to offer to leave your skin flawless.
- Main Line Networkers is having a networking event at Craft Hall. During the Center City Networking Live event and connect with other local business owners, entrepreneurs, and those looking to grow their network. Light appetizers and extended happy hour prices will be available as well.
Thursday 2/2
- Bring the kiddos out for some fresh air and join Pennypack Environmental Center for their Nature Tots: Groundhog’s Day event. You and your kids will be able to hear a story, work on a craft, and more!
- The Crossing Vineyards & Winery is having a Tarot Card Reading & Wine Tasting event. Bring your friends and come out for an evening of wine, dessert, and a private Tarot Card Reading.
Friday 2/3
- Love to paint and jam out to reggae? In honor of Bob Marley’s birthing coming up, ARTrageous Brush and Flow is having a Reggae Sip and Paint. You’ll be able to sip on complementary run punch and follow a step-by-step paint demonstration from a lead artist.
- Kendra Scott is here again to give you another amazing event for you and your gal pals! Join Charcuterie Chic and Kendra Scott for their Galentine’s Workshop. It will be a night of shopping, wine, and the opportunity to make a charcuterie board.
Saturday 2/4
- Nothing like Saturday morning breakfast, but have you ever had ice cream for breakfast? If not, now you have the chance! February 4th is Jeni’s Ice Cream for Breakfast Day. Come out in your comfy PJs to enjoy some morning ice cream and a chance to win some free stuff.
- Main street is turning into a winter wonderland for the Founders Philly Freeze-Out hosted by Manayunk and Founders Brewing. This family-friendly event will feature stunning ice sculptures, activities, beer specials, and more!
Sunday 2/5
- Cantina La Martina Philly is hosting their La Tamalada event which is a celebration of tamales! There will be 10 local Latino street vendors and specialty drinks available as well.
- For those keeping up with Philly Burger Crawl, you’re invited to the Philly Burger Brawl Awards Ceremony at Xfinity Live. You’ll get to watch the top 10 restaurants compete to see who has the best-tasting burger in Philadelphia!

- Get in the feeling of love and intimacy with your significant other or friends and come out to Get Touchy/Feely with Rex At The Royal. This event will consist of games, drinks, and light appetizers. There will also be a meet and greet with the creator of the Touchy/Feely Game and a Cocktail demonstration with Joshua Schied who’s a beverage manager.
