The Golden Girls Are Here
Hey Philly, guess what? The Golden Girls are in town! You heard that right, the Golden Girls made a special trip from Miami to Philadelphia to be a part of Without a Cue’s show, Golden Girls – The Murder Mystery. The show will start on January 20, 2023 and run every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until April 29, 2023. Make sure you get your tickets here, so you can hang out with the Golden Girls cast.
The Golden Girls plan to ditch the Miami weather and hit the streets of everyone’s favorite city, considering they now have a permanent home. Without A Cue Productions just opened Philadelphia’s only theater dedicated to the art of murder mystery- The Red Rūm Theater, located in the Curtis Atrium.
The show puts a mysterious twist on a classic Golden Girls party. As celebrations unfold, so do the details of a guest with murderous intentions. Guests will partake in a scavenger hunt over the course of the evening to find clues and help Sophia, Blanche, Rose, and Dorothy solve the mysterious murder of their party.
The Golden Girls and Without a Cue want to thank Betty White for being a friend by honoring her the whole month of January. A portion of all ticket sales for shows in the month of January will be donated to Philly PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society), a non profit organization dedicated to saving homeless and at-risk pets in Philadelphia. Philly PAWS has a goal to make Philadelphia a no-kill city where every savable pet is guaranteed a new home. PAWS has been very successful in providing affordable and basic veterinary care to pet owners as well as placing rescues into loving homes, but they are completely funded by donations. So don’t forget to buy your tickets here, not only to party with the Golden Girls but to support an amazing cause honoring Betty White and potentially save an animal’s life.
