June 27

  • Wawa Welcome America has our back for the best celebrations, and their Hoagie Day will not be one to disappoint! Head over to Independence Mall for free Wawa hoagies and a performance by the Six String Soldiers of The United States Army String Band! Bring all your friends and family and get ready for the all-you-can eat hoagies! 
  • If you haven’t already, the Chinese Lantern Festival is not something you want to miss, especially not this Wednesday! Indulge in a Philly Night Out at the Chinese Lantern Festival where you will see over 30-larger-than-life light displays and get the chance to meet new people! 

June 30

  •  Hop on the Spirit of Philadelphia for a booze cruise! This Red, White, and Blue Boat Party will have everything you need to get this weekend’s celebrations started! This three-hour boat ride will sail through the Delaware River, with an open bar, a dinner buffet, and a live DJ.   • The Oval XP is a free programming event that features games, fitness activities, educational events, movie nights, live entertainment, and more! July 1 

  • The Philadelphia Phillies play against the St. Louis Cardinals this Friday! However, this isn’t just any game! Lucky Philly fans will be able to witness a spectacular Phillies Fireworks Show after the game hosted by Xfinity Live! Go to support the Phillies and stay for the fireworks show!   • Today marks the start of the iconic Philly Balloon and Music Festival! This event is perfect for friends and family! There are two ways to experience this; from the air or from the ground. There will be a live DJ, food trucks, live artist performances, interactive activities, and of course, an insane fireworks display! 

July 2 

  • No better way to celebrate Phillie’s diverse culture than with Wawa Welcome America’s Celebration of Community & Culture! This event highlights Latin’s rich and vibrant culture with a block party complete with Latin food, music, and vendors! After the block party, head inside the Esperanza Arts Center for incredible piano performances, and dance lessons!

July 3

  • The Fourth of July Eve calls for a major celebration, and Wawa Welcome America does not play! POPS on Independence is the ultimate way to get fired up for the 4ths celebrations! The POPS will be performing an original program created by Charles Abell and featuring Ryan Shaw! Guests are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to have somewhere to sit and stay warm. Feel free to get to the show before for some food and entertainment!
