Monday, July 6

  • Healthy Minds Philly is offering a weekly online workshop of Virtual Adaptive Yoga! Participants of all abilities are welcome, and it’s free! Don’t forget to pre register here so you can learn new yoga postures, breathing techniques, and mindfulness activities at 10 a.m.! 
  • Your children do not want to miss Brandywine’s Virtual Summer Art Camp! Youth ages 9-14 will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in creative projects facilitated by museum educators every morning at 10 a.m.!   • Join the Free Library of Philadelphia at 3 p.m. to read to a therapy animal friend from PAWS through a live video conference! Reading to a dog can help children develop the confidence and skills they need for public speaking and reading aloud! Register online here.
Friday, July 10 
  • Join the DG Footlights Philadelphia’s Online Theatrical Festival of 10-minute plays over three days, celebrating the work of twenty-two dramatists! The event starts today at 7:30 p.m. and you can register online here for free! 
  • Join in with John Brady, the President and CEO of the Independence Seaport Museum while he discusses his experience building a Sandbagger! The event will be taking place on their Facebook page, so make sure to give them a follow! 
Saturday, July 11
  • Get the chance to tour the 1860 Ebenezer Maxwell Mansion via Zoom! A guide will lead you through the downstairs of the mansion and you can see beautiful images and collection items. The event is just $6 and you can register online here
  • Head over to the Reading Terminal Market today for the Taste of Philly Food Tour! Learn the story behind Philly’s most famous foods: cheesesteaks, hoagies, and pretzels. And you get to eat them too, of course! You can purchase your tickets online here
