  • Enjoy the new year with the little ones in your life. Franklin Square is hosting a  Kids New Year’s Eve Countdown from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Bring the whole family and enjoy some early fireworks and activities for all ages. 
  • Ring in 2020 in style at the Moshulu Boat Bash! The Waterfront Fireworks party will feature food and drinks with the best view of the city’s fireworks.
  • Who doesn’t love a bar crawl? Crawl Til The Ball Drops starts with Fox & Hound at 5 p.m.Head into 2020 with tons of friends, drinks, and good times. 

 

Wednesday, January 1

 

  • A Philly tradition that never gets old. You know we’re talking about Philadelphia’s Mummer’s Parade. Watch your favorite Mummers strut their stuff along broad street and celebrate the new decade with your Philly family.
  • Photo Pop Philly* is having a New Year’s Day party that you won’t want to miss! POP in to see some eye catching interactive exhibits. Complimentary champagne will be served!
  • The Kimmel Center is having its 15th Annual Free Celebration. Head on over for fun, games, and one of the best views of The Mummer’s Parade!
  • Head to City Winery for their Over Easy Brunch for a meal like no other with music, mimosas and plenty of food.   

 

Thursday, January 2

 

  • Come check out the Vegan Night Market pop-up at Vision Venue. From food and drinks to clothes and products, this event is all things vegan. Your 2020 vegan resolutions are waiting!
  • Attend a wine class at the Wine School of Philadelphia. They’re hosting Wine 101, a crash course on all things wine! Take a bestie and enjoy because, wine not?

 

Friday, January 3

 

  • Check out Painting With A Twist and their Wine Glass Workshop. Grab a bottle of wine and paint yourself a glass or two with this wine of a kind workshop! 
  • With performances by Monica, Ashanti and other special guests, Femme It Forward is a show you won’t want to miss. These female powerhouses are playing at The Met, so get your tickets today! 
  • Dumplings are a feel-good food, but you know what would make you feel even better? Making them yourself! Check out Let’s Cultivate Food for their Dumplings Cooking Class and learn how to make some yummy creations today. 

 

Saturday, January 4

 

  • Calling all soon-to-be brides! Head over to the Bridal Expo at the Philadelphia Convention Center to plan for your future wedding. From florists and bakeries to tuxedo rentals and entertainment, the Bridal Expo has everything you’re looking for!
  • Photo Pop Philly* is going out with a bang! Check out their Champagne Saturday starting at noon. Enjoy free champagne as you explore the last days of the Winter Wonderland exhibit! 
  • Head to the Philly Art Collective Gallery for the HERspace women’s art festival. Feast your eyes on the various art forms created by powerful female artists while enjoying some light refreshments. 
  • Head to Philadelphia Runner for their First Sansom Street Donut Run of 2020. Get a good workout in and end up at Federal Donuts to treat yourself with free coffee and donuts afterwards! Participation is free so you’ve got nothing to lose!

 

Sunday, January 5

 

  • Go green with your Christmas tree! Head to Palmer Doggie Depot for a Christmas Tree Recycling. Bring your tree and they will turn it into mulch to beautify the City of Brotherly Love.
