The holidays are finally here! We’re sharing fun and festive ways to celebrate. From Christmas caroling to a kid-friendly Teddy Bear Tea, there’s a full list of events that will add a little extra fun to your week. Monday, December 23

 

  • It’s MistleToe Monday at Photo Pop Philly!* Bring your boo or your bestie to snap some pics for the gram. If you’re over 21, you’ll receive a complimentary glass of wine to sip on while you snap!  
  • Cheer on the Flyers as they take on the New York Rangers at the Wells Fargo Center at 7 p.m. 
  • Singing is good for the soul! Enjoy Christmas Carol Sing-a-long with Sly Fox at Varga Bar to get into the holiday spirit. With food and drink specials from 8 -11 p.m., you’ll be feeling cheery in no time.
  • Mondays are for dancing! Start your week of right by dancing at the Barbary as Tigerbeats celebrates their 10 Year Anniversary. With no cover charge, you’ll have a great time from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

  • Christmas Eve traditions are unlike any other. Enjoy a traditional Feast of Seven Fishes at Fork Restaurant from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Make your reservations today to try their mouth-watering gourmet feast for yourself. 
  • Food and Christmas Eve are a match made in heaven. Enjoy an evening of good eats at Amada Restaurant to enjoy a Christmas Eve Prime Rib Roast. The feast-ivities start at 4 p.m. so don’t be late!
Wednesday, December 25

 

  • Who doesn’t love a good brunch? Spend Christmas morning at The Bellevue Hotel to enjoy their Christmas Brunch in XIX Restaurant. Brunch starts at 11:30 a.m. so you have just enough time to see what Santa brought before heading off for some festive eats.  
  • Spread some cheer for the 76ers as they play the Milwaukee Bucs 2:30 p.m. at The Wells Fargo Center.  
Thursday, December 26

 

  • Enjoy some post-Christmas festivities at Rolling Thunder Skating Park for their Winter Carnival. Take advantage of this all day event and squeeze some extra fun into your week. With face painting and character appearances, it’ll be a family affair you won’t want to miss.
  • Did Santa bring something you don’t actually need? The Continental Midtown is hosting The Great Continental Regift Exchange from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Bring a new gift and swap it out for something different! While you’re exchanging, enjoy some holiday cocktails and enjoy good company.
  • Just because Christmas is over doesn’t mean the celebrating should be. The Merriam Theater is hosting Cirque Dreams: Holidaze from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. This opportunity is definitely one that’s not to miss.

  • Who doesn’t love a tea party? Check out Teddy Bear Tea at The Rittenhouse from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enjoy tea with small bites and end the day with building gingerbread houses! 
  • It’s a Winter Wonderland at Photo Pop Philly.* With a wide variety of interactive exhibits, your instagram will look poppin’ this holiday season. Bring a friend (or a few), and enjoy the many photo-friendly exhibits together!
  • A late Christmas surprise can’t be bad when it’s this good. Head on over to the Wells Fargo Center for  Disney on Ice presents Road Trip Adventures at 3 p.m.  
  • Head on over to World Cafe Live to be a detective at dinner. A Dickens of a Murder Mystery Dinner will have you solving mysteries while enjoying a meal. The decision to attend is elementary, my dear Watson.  
Saturday, December 28

 

  • ‘Tis the season for giving, so join the Backpack Event for the Homeless. Bring a backpack filled with toiletries, waters, and lunches to give to the homeless. The event is being held at 9th and Market from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. 
  • Participate in a Holiday Coat Giveaway at Kensington Storefront from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Bring new or gently used coats of all sizes and donate them to those in need. Winter is coming, so let’s help those less fortunate. 
  • Make your dreams of becoming a unicorn come to life. The Barbary is hosting a Unicorn Party that you won’t want to miss. Dress your magical best and enjoy a night of dancing, music, and drinks.
Sunday, December 29

 

  • An Eagles away game calls for a watch party! Xfinity Live is hosting a Miller Lite Eagles Away Game Party starting at noon. Watch the Eagles take on the New York Giants and enjoy some food and drink specials while you’re at it. The first 500 guests receive a free Miller Lite so get there early!
  • Sip, sip hooray… Panorama Wine Bar is hosting Wine Class: Champagne Anyone? At 2 p.m., bring your girls and enjoy some wine while learning how to compare different wines from all over the globe.  
  • End your weekend with a show suitable for all ages. The Walnut Street Theatre is hosting Shrek The Musical at 11 a.m. and you’re invited! Get your tickets to see this family friendly performance that everyone will love.
