With pre-season bar crawls, karaoke nights, and more… the fun never ends in The City of Brotherly Love! Tag us when your out and about with #ThisWeekInPhilly. 

Tuesday, September 3
  • See if you have what it takes to be the true heir to the Iron Throne at Game of Thrones Trivia at Goose Island Brewhouse. Starting at 7:00pm, there will be FIVE rounds on all SEVEN seasons that will put your inner GOT superfan to the test.
  • Got the urge to sing your heart out? Then don’t miss Karaoke Night at Cavanaugh’s Restaurant & Bar. Every Tuesday at 9:00pm come get your karaoke on, belt the lyrics to your favorite 2000s throwback, and enjoy $3 draft and well drinks.
Wednesday, September 4
  • Another week, another location! Parks on Tap is at Lemon Hill, East Fairmount Park until September 8. Catch the traveling beer garden that’s all the rage before it is on the move again, or worse…done for the season!
  • Vampire Weekend and their Father of the Bride Tour arrive at The Mann Center at 7:30pm.
Thursday, September 5
  • Catch the kick-off of the annual Philadelphia Fringe Festival at the FringeArts center on the Delaware River waterfront. It’s a 3-week long, city-wide celebration of innovation and creativity in contemporary performance. Choose from over 200 unique artists and companies putting on a variety of shows each night for 17 days straight!
  • Calling all artists! Do you feel undervalued by clients? AIGA Philadelphia is here to help with: It’s Your Fault: and other hard truths about client relationships. Author Emily Cohen speaks on how to take back control, improve communication, and better understand the industry as a whole.  
Friday, September 6
  • Celebrate First Friday with Movies Under the Stars and Stripes at the Betsy Ross House. The BYOB (and food) series continues with the classic horror film Them. Admission is $5 and includes an after-hours tour of the historic Betsy Ross House. 
  • Explore the FREE pop-up solo Saturday Morning Cartoons: Art Exhibit at the Philly Art Collective Gallery from 6:00pm – 9:00pm. Take a look at 90s kids favorite Saturday morning cartoons from the perspective of Freek Ugly x Jae Martin.
Saturday, September 7
  • Calling all college students! Kick off your semester with Campus Philly’s CollegeFest, an all-day, free-festival in Dilworth Park. From 10:00am – 3:00pm, experience outdoor games, prizes, pop-up performances, and FREE admission to Philadelphia’s top museums. 
  • Philly Philly, start the season off right, with a Pep-Rally Pre-Season BIRDCRAWL! Grab your friends, your favorite Eagles gear, and root for your team as they enter the 2019 season.
  • What do you get when Night Market meets Farmers Market? Philadelphia’s largest Food Trust Market comes to Cherry Street Pier. Every Saturday from 10:00am – 2:00pm until November 16, enjoy fresh produce, vendors, and local artists all along the waterfront!
Sunday, September 8
  • Get your first regular season home game tickets and watch Philadelphia Eagles take on the Washington Redskins at the Lincoln Financial Field.
  • Head to Spruce Street Harbor Park for their weekly Art Star Pop-Up! Enjoy 20+ curated art and craft vendors every Sunday until September 22.
