Tuesday, August 13
  • Come channel your inner Eleven at Goose Island Brewhouse for FIVE brand new rounds of Stranger Things Trivia.
  • Nebula Terminal is trying to raise funds to open the Community Cultural Center in Manayunk. They will be hosting an Art Auction Benefit to jumpstart this project.
  • Just across the bridge, there’s still time left for Cherry Hill Restaurant Week. Dine at some of the favorite staples like Seasons 52 or The Capital Grille. You can also discover new mom and pop shop such as Il Villaggio for amazing gnocchi or La Cita for authentic Mexican cuisine.
Wednesday, August 14
  • Cool off on a hot summer night at Philadelphia Magic Gardens’ August Garden Party. Enjoy refreshing drinks from Chaddsford Winery, Hochstadter’s Slow & Low Whiskey, and Dock Street Brewery. All drinks are included with admission. As always, donations for the ACLU and Planned Parenthood will be accepted!
  • Pinot Wine Boutique introduces a celebration of great French wines! In Beyond Bordeaux, they’ll stay away from the stuffiness; instead, you’ll be introduced to French wines that are more playful, inventive, and affordable.
Thursday, August 15

Saturday, August 17
  • Philly is hosting a weekend full of boy bands! The Backstreet Boys are bringing their DNA World Tour to the Wells Fargo Center.
  • The annual Festival of India, hosted by the Council of Indian Organizations (CIO) of Greater Philadelphia, celebrates India’s Independence Day. The day highlights free activities including a colorful panorama of art, music, dance, and more.
  • In nearby NJ, come to the 14th Annual Collingswood Crafts and Fine Art Festival. More than 150 fine artists will be showcasing their craft from painters and photographers to jewelers and sculptors. Then, stay for Market Night with restaurant specials, sidewalk sales, live performers and more,  beginning at 5 p.m. 
  • Philly Art Collective Gallery hosts a free Nipsey Hussle Tribute Exhibit for the late rapper. Local artists will feature themed artwork with a portion of proceeds going towards a selected arts organization in the community.
Sunday, August 18
  • Back and better than ever, the Jonas Brothers and their Happiness Begins Tour are coming to Philadelphia! Doors open at Wells Fargo Center open at 7:30 p.m.
  • The 33rd Annual Philly Caribbean Festival brings back one of the largest and longest-standing festivals in Philadelphia. Celebrate the vivacious culture at Penn’s Landing PECO Plaza. Come taste delicious delicacies including jerk chicken, curries, festival bakes, and roti, along with live music, dancing, arts, giveaways, and much more.
  • The Positivity Charge brings its Philadelphia Wellness Conference to the beautiful Warwick Hotel in Rittenhouse. With keynote speaker Piera Gelardi, the co-founder and executive creative director of Refinery29, this event is set to create a full day of empowerment.
