- Nebula Terminal is trying to raise funds to open the Community Cultural Center in Manayunk. They will be hosting an Art Auction Benefit to jumpstart this project.

- Philly is hosting a weekend full of boy bands! The Backstreet Boys are bringing their DNA World Tour to the Wells Fargo Center.
- The annual Festival of India, hosted by the Council of Indian Organizations (CIO) of Greater Philadelphia, celebrates India’s Independence Day. The day highlights free activities including a colorful panorama of art, music, dance, and more.
- In nearby NJ, come to the 14th Annual Collingswood Crafts and Fine Art Festival. More than 150 fine artists will be showcasing their craft from painters and photographers to jewelers and sculptors. Then, stay for Market Night with restaurant specials, sidewalk sales, live performers and more, beginning at 5 p.m.
- Philly Art Collective Gallery hosts a free Nipsey Hussle Tribute Exhibit for the late rapper. Local artists will feature themed artwork with a portion of proceeds going towards a selected arts organization in the community.
Sunday, August 18
