Monday, July 29

Thursday, August 1
  • The Jason Thompson Foundation,* founded by the eponymous NBA player, hosts their annual Summer Soirée at Union Trust. Advocating for heart-healthy lifestyles, the charity’s planned a night filled with music, drinks, world-class food stations, a silent auction, networking, and more.
  • Make your way to BB&T to see county’s biggest romantic, Thomas Rhett! He’s bringing his new Very Hot Summer Tour to the Philadelphia area.
Friday, August 2
  • Instagram shots and rosé, no way! During First Fridays in Old City, Photo Pop Philly* is partnering with Pinot Boutique to provide samples of delicious frosé included in all tickets purchased for this day.
  • Bartram’s Garden brings you the Lighthouse Parade and Glow Party, a free evening of dancing and glow-in-the-dark fun. Come dressed in neon colors or white to really shine under the black lights. There will be face painting, giveaways, activities, and the opportunity to observe some nighttime pollinators for National Moth Night!

Saturday, August 3
  • Be prepared: Philly Free Streets is taking over Broad Street for one whole day. Powered by managed by the city’s Office of Transportation, Infrastructure, & Sustainability, this program is a people-powered initiative inviting people to walk, bike, roll, and play. This means Broad Street will be temporarily closes streets to cars from Arch Street to Butler Street. 
  • Filmmakers from all over the Philadelphia, PA area will compete in The 48 Hour Film Project. This challenge sets creative minds to the test by revealing the required content elements AT kick off. Then, teams have only two days to write, shoot, and edit their short films. The winning Philly film will go up against those from around the world at Filmapalooza 2020… so get signed up today!

Sunday, August 4
  • On behalf of National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day, The Famous 4th Street Cookie Company is naturally celebrating in a big way.
