This Week In Philly

Between Philly Pride, Father’s Day, and so much more, we’d argue that it’s one of the happiest weeks of the year. And summer hasn’t even officially begun yet! We say, ditch staying at home with A/C, get out there and enjoy a week of events filled with sun and fun!


Monday, June 10
  • Ever dream of making people laugh? Tonight begins The Philadelphia Comedy Academy’s ongoing monthly workshop which will focus on developing and honing a five-minute set of stand up. By the end of the month, you’ll be performing this act at Punch Line Philly.
  • The Camden County Board of Freeholders welcomes you to the 28th Annual Sunset Jazz Series at Wiggins Park. All concerts are free to attend and will start at 8 PM.  
Tuesday, June 11
  • Game of Thrones may have come to an end, but let’s remember the good times with Game of Thrones trivia at Punch Line Philly to benefit PSPCA!
  • Come relive the fall of 1975 with a screening of Rolling Thunder: A Bob Dylan story by Martin Scorsese. This experience at Philadelphia Film Academy is part documentary, part concert film, and part fever dream.
Wednesday, June 12
  • Kick back and relax at one of the most artistic happy hours in the city! Spend a night surrounded by the beautiful Philadelphia Magic Garden with drinks, crafts, scavenger hunts, music.
  • Pregame the Phillies Navy Yard Appreciation Night at a tailgate in the parking lot. There will be exclusive food and drink specials for Navy Yard employees, family, and friends attending the game.
Thursday, June 13

Friday, June 14

  • Kimmel Center presents an all-female casting of The Second City – She The People. This comedic and cathartic show pushes normal boundaries and stands up for women everywhere in the best way possible.  
  • Nothing screams summer more than drinking a cold beer on the lawn at BB&T. So get your cutest outfit, grab a date, and join Dave Matthews Band this Friday night.  
  • All aboard to the DJ Deejay Boat Party at The Deck Moshulu! Enjoy front-of-the-line entry, a 2-hour open bar, and exclusive access the VIP Deck from 10pm to 12am for a fun night on the water.
