We love an excuse to soak in the spring weather! From free outdoor festivals to running in the park there are plenty of ways to get out and check out what’s happening  #ThisWeekInPhilly.

Monday April 8

Tuesday April 9

  • It’s the best day of the year for Ben & Jerry’s lovers! From 12-9pm, enjoy their annual Free Cone Day at all Ben & Jerry’s ice cream shops.
  • Now through Sunday, the romantic and adventure-filled musical Anastasia is showing at the Kimmel Center.
  • Justin Timberlake is bringing Sexy Back to the Wells Fargo Center at 7:30pm!
  • Everyone’s favorite baseball deal, Dollar Dog Night is going on as the Phillies play the Washington Nationals.
  • Cheer on the Sixers as they play the Miami Heat at home at 7pm in the Wells Fargo Center.

Wednesday April 10

Thursday April 11

  • Now through Saturday, catch Paul Virzi at one of his five shows at Punch Line Philly.
  • Get tickets to see New York-based electronic music producer Jai Wolf is performing at Union Transfer.

Friday April 12

  • The Small Business Expo is coming to the Loews Hotel. This free event is for small businesses to network, build new relationships, participate in cutting-edge workshops, exchange ideas, and learn from leading industry experts.
  • See the artistic integrity, superbly trained dancers and electrifying performances of PHILADANCO: Dance Philly Style at the Kimmel Center through Sunday.
  • Head to Frankford Music Hall to see Swedish electronic dance music production, songwriting and DJ duo Galantis performance.
  • The Philadelphia Autism Conference will be hosted at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. This event will host world leaders in Autism and sensory resources through speakers and leaders in the community.
  • Make sure to get your tickets to see Chelsea Handler at The Met on her Sit-Down Comedy tour. Every ticket comes with a copy of Chelsea Handler’s new book – Life Will Be the Death of Me.

Saturday April 13

  • The second annual Mind, Body, and Bubbly hosted by yours truly is at a brand new venue: Location 215.   • Enjoy a unique cultural experience at the Philadelphia Zoo for the Indian Festival of Colors. Immerse yourself in Indian music, dancing, food and fun featuring artists and vendors from the city’s vibrant Indian American community.

  • See works by local artists, music, crafts, food and much more at the Spring Arts Festival. This free event will highlighting all forms of art and will be held along Frankford Avenue from Princeton Ave. to Tyson Ave.

Sunday April 14

  • Get delicious food from over 50 of Philadelphia’s best food trucks and gourmet food vendors at the Spring StrEAT Food Festival on Main Street in Manayunk.
  • Celebrate traditional and contemporary Japan under the cherry blossoms in Fairmount Park. Sakura Sunday is an all-day celebration of Japanese culture, from live music, dance, and martial arts performances to fashion shows, arts and crafts, karaoke, and much more.
  • Join Fishtown Cafe’s Head Baker, John McGrath from 3-5pm for a Sourdough Bread Workshop. Attendees will have the opportunity to mix, portion, and take home a piece of dough to shape and  bake.
