Monday, March 4th

  • There is still time to catch all of the beauty of The Philadelphia Flower Show continuing  this week through Sunday at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
  • Get your tickets to The Black Women’s Wellness & Empowerment Conference.  Join their speakers and vendors as they take you through a day that is dedicated to enhancing the lives of Black women mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally.
  • Celebrate Women’s Month by attending the TEDx Girls Run the World talk.Listen as they delve into how girls and young women can be inspired to take their place in a world.

Tuesday, March 5th

  • Come celebrate Fat Tuesday at Bourbon Blue’s Mardi Gras!  Enjoy an open bar, live music, prizes, masks, and all the beads you need. Plus, there full menu of tasty Southern-inspired dishes will be available all night.
  • Dess to the nines and check out all of the exciting action of Philly Fashion Week! Explore new designers at pop up shops, watch live runway shows, and enjoy the art of fashion.
  • Cheer on the 76ers playing against the Orlando Magic at 7 pm at the Wells Fargo Center.

Wednesday, March 6th

  • For the month of March, Philly Art Collective will be offering free Capoeira classes for women. The practice of this ancient Afro-Brazilian Martial art blends dance, self-defense, acrobatics, music, and culture. Classes are open to all, and no experience necessary.
  • Join Councilwoman Blondell Reynolds Brown at HerStory Happy Hour. Share your voice and story by honoring the lessons, struggles, triumphs and celebrations of women leaders by sharing HerStories and opening the mic for women in the audience to speak their truths!
  • Join The Business Resource and Innovation Center at the Free Library of Philadelphia for The Future is Feminine. See a special lineup that highlights some of their favorite female talents.
  • Sip while you sketch with local artists at Drink & Draw. This event falls on pay-what-you-wish Wednesday and all materials are provided and all levels are welcome!

Thursday, March 7th

  • Enjoy lunch at Power Hour Lunch in the City with the Walnut Club. Lunch will be at Gran Caffe L’Aquila an authentic, award-winning Italian restaurant. Non members of the Walnut Club are welcome!
  • Jefferson and the Jefferson Graduate Sustainability Network is holding their second annual Women Thinking Forward: Highlighting Women in Sustainability. This event will bring together a diverse group of women with backgrounds in Fashion, Design, Health, and Business to discuss how everyone can do their part in changing the world.

Friday, March 8th

  • Join The Walnut Club at Scarpetta for a happy hour celebration in honor of International Women’s Day.
  • Get your wheels turning at night cycle! Meet at 8 and bike ride around the city and conclude the night with drinks!
  • Celebrate Sisterhood at Philly Unite, International Women’s Day Jam. Come and meet with other amazing women (and men are welcome too!) to create a safer and healthier Philadelphia and enjoy the music.
  • Party like it’s the Fourth of July at the Summer in Winter Dance Party! Beat the winter blues and dance the night away with signature drinks, snacks, summer-themed door prizes, bubbles, and maybe a surprise guest or two!
  • The Women’s month celebrations continue at Time To Pretend V: An All Women’s Art Showcase. This all women’s art showcase  of over 25 artist and vendors is 15 dollars and features an open bar.

Saturday, March 9th

  • Get tickets to see English singer-songwriter James Bay perform at The Met.
  • Discover over 150+ destinations from around the globe and start planning your next trip at the Philadelphia Travel and Adventure Show at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
  • Roots Philly Yoga is Holding Wellness Day. This free event will offer access to meeting new people and talking with available practitioners to talk with you about safer beauty products, massage, acupuncture, wellness products, essential oils, sample juices, and more.
  • Join Philly Art Creative @PhillyArtShow in recognizing the life of The Notorious BIG through art at The BIG Exhibition. The gallery with have over 30 visual artists and will be serving free wine throughout the night and presenting the first 50 patrons with a free art print.
  • Bring your best dance moves to  The Future is Female– a dance party for Planned Parenthood. This 21+ event is open to anyone and will be a night of good music and good people!

Sunday, March 10th

  • It may not be St. Patricks Day yet, but it’s never too early for a celebration! Wear your favorite green outfit and enjoy the 2019 St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
  • Head to Jasper Studios for Fishtown Sample: Indie & Boutique Sample Sale. Come shop 40-90% off some of Philly’s best boutiques and designers at the sale while sipping on the complimentary mimosa bar.
  • Starr Garden Neighbors and Friends hosts Winterfest 2019. This celebration of winter is a perfect day for family fun with pony rides, ice carving, hot cocoa, games & more!
