Monday, April 23
  • Led by The Franklin Institute, the 8th Annual Philadelphia Science Festival features dozens of awesome events until April 28. Most of these events are free and sure to educate, inspire, and engage with science and technology in our everyday world. Get ready to #GetNerdyPHL!
  • Join scientists from the Monell Center and Drexel University for The Future of Food discussion on food sustainability. Explore food from perspectives including the sensory, nutritional, and culinary. This event offers a scientifically delicious tasting menu and tips on bringing food and agricultural technologies to life.
  • The West of West Wine Festival takes over Walnut Street Cafe with an opportunity unlike anything any other. Experience the amazing wine of the West Sonoma Coast, a cool coastal region which produces the finest Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in America.
Tuesday, April 24
  • Becoming Super Bowl Champions was just the beginning for the City of Philadelphia. The celebratory events that occurred post-Bowl seemed to come together in a matter of days. Thursday, April 26

  • The Philadelphia Science Festival is taking over the Reading Terminal Market to celebrate science, food, and all things Philadelphia. The epic Brain Food: Science Night at the Market has 25 hands-on activities, $5 food bites from 15 vendors, cooking demos and so much more.
Friday, April 27
  • The 8th Annual Philly Tech Week takes place through May 5. This week-long celebration of technology and innovation is happening throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. With diverse tracks and events, check the schedule to find that there’s something for everyone!
  • SpringFest is a mid-year survey of the freshest cinematic marvels from the international festival circuit, presented by the Philadelphia Film Society. Attendees will have exclusive access to the hottest films that will sure to have people talking.
  • A hot new production of one of the world’s most popular operas Carmen will begin at the Academy of Music. This twisting tale of romance, deceit and disaster is set to magnetic melodies. Saturday, April 28

  • Now in its 20th year, The Annual Manayunk Craft Beer and Rum Festival brings beer lovers 4+ hours of tastings. Try over 70 different craft beers, as well as rum samples, delicious food items for purchase, live music, and more!
  • Join as 15 of the best bars and restaurants compete for the title of the Best Margarita at Philly’s Margarita Rumble. Vote for your favorite as dozens of mixologists shake it up while you sample. Proceeds from the event will benefit PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society).
Sunday, April 29
  • Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens is excited to have self-taught artist Russell Craig display his provocative works of art, Blood, Sweat, and Tears. Craig’s eye-opening art is on court documents, prison paperwork, and discarded items to show how art helped him overcome incredibly difficult times in his life.
  • Love oysters? Don’t miss Shuckfest 2018 at Oyster House. This event offers covers all things oyster-related from tastings, a shucking contest, as well as the chance to meet local oyster growers.
