  • Based on the hit film, this hilarious new musical School of Rock begins it’s run at the Kimmel Center. Wednesday, March 28
  • Head to the Arden Theater Company for Toni Morrison’s The Bluest Eye. This powerful story tells the story of Pecola Breedlove, a young black girl growing up in the 1940’s who wants nothing more than to be loved. Stay after the final current for a post show discussion to discuss the powerful messages of the show.
  • Join WHYY’s Marty Moss-Coane of Radio Times and Maiken Scott of The Pulse as they lead conversations on sexual harassment at the free event From Moment to Movement. Join this powerful discussion while donations given during the night support WHYY programs and services.

 

Thursday, March 29
  • Women and men are invited to Women Lead(ers) 2.0. This panel discussion features top female professionals from the nonprofit, education, business, government, and tech sectors. This networking reception teaches concrete tools and methods to navigate the workplace as a woman. Doors open at 6.
  • Get in the Easter spirit and hop over to Bunnyland at Linvilla Orchards for special hay rides to the Easter Bunny’s house! Get the chance to meet the Bunny and take pictures while enjoying special holiday treats. The day is fun for the whole family!
Friday, March 30
  • The Brewer’s Plate* is a food and beverage festival in the Mid-Atlantic region like no other. Saturday, March 31
  • And We Evolve Launch Party is this Saturday from 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. Learn more about our CSA (community-supported apparel) wardrobe-sharing program. And enjoy drinks and light fare with a chance to shop #revolved apparel, which is like-new clothing that has a second life in the closet of a new wearer.
  • ART + BEER SHOW at Strangelove Philly is from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Join them drink specials as well as a chance to meet Erin Wrench and hang out with our very own Adam Herndon, with their speciality artwork for sale.  
  • Come see Wyclef Jean at The Ardmore Music Hall with doors opening at 7 p.m. Wyclef Jean has been dominating the charts for years and has been featured on some of the hottest tracks of the 21st century. Don’t miss the chance to see him live!
