- The Annual Wawa Hoagie Day at Independence Mall honors our troops. Attendees enjoy FREE Wawa hoagies, special appearances by Food Network Chef Robert Irvine, and a performance by the USO Show Troupe.
- Join Mayor Kenney and councilmembers for Passport Philadelphia’s Taste Southeast Asia Night. Enjoy cultural and delicious food while celebrating the special place that Southeast Asian businesses play in building our local economy. - The reigning 2016 champs, South Philadelphia String Band, take the stage for a free Summer Mummer Concert! Get your golden slippers ready and dance the night away at the Mummers Museum.
- The inaugural Conshy Comedy Fest will showcase 10+ local comedians for evening of stand up comedy at the Great American Pub on Fayette Street. A portion of the proceeds from every ticket sale will benefit the Colonial Neighborhood Council.
Friday, July 1
- The Philadelphia Mausoleum of Contemporary Art debuts this year’s ‘Murica art exhibit. Join the “Best of Philly” museum on opening night for a reception featuring live music from LeBon LeBon, Less is Modern and Dead. The entertainment portion of the event is donation-based, and all proceeds go to the performers.

- After Party on the Parkway, the festival continues with a celebrity concert. Enjoy performances by Tony Award® winning hometown actor Leslie Odom, Jr. from Broadway’s hit Hamilton, Yazz the Greatest (Bryshere Gray) from FOX’s Empire, and many more! Directly following the concert, watch a dazzling fireworks show to celebrate our country’s birth!
