It’s Philly Beer Week and we couldn’t be more excited! For the next 10 days, there will be a host of events at participating venues ranging from food pairings to brewery spotlight – and tomorrow night is the official kick off Opening Tap party at the Fillmore! Enjoy live music, food, and featured breweries from 6 to 10 p.m.
Can’t make it to the kick off? Don’t worry there are over 100 events throughout the week! Here are some of our favorites:
- A JOINT Event – Saturday, June 4 from 1 to 7 p.m.
Come to this FREE Block Party on South Street between 15th and 16th Streets. Hosted by the Cambridge and Bob & Barbara’s Lounge, there will be live music and beer from Fat Heads and Terrapin Beer Company and many others. Food is served too!
- Bacon Brunch – Sunday, June 5 from 10 to 3 a.m.
Beer Week getting the best of you? Join Evolution Brewery at Silk City for brunch!
- Dunkel Dare – Wednesday, June 8 at 6 p.m. to Thursday, June 9 at 11 p.m.
That’s right, Dunkel Dare is back by popular demand! Join Mark Summers at Frankford Hall for beer-focused challenges. This event is first come, first serve with a $10 cover charge, so be sure to get there early!
- 3rd Annual Turtle Races – Thursday, June 9 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Watch as turtles race their hearts out at Drury Beer Garden. Be sure to drink up, proceeds from the event will go to the Philadelphia Zoo!
Looking for more relaxed events? The official beer garden of Philly Beer Week is Spruce Street Harbor Park! Come throughout the week for special events with featured breweries, including independent breweries like Philadelphia Brewing Company!
