What could be better than shopping for a cause? On Sunday, April 19, the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association is hosting a special event in benefit of their mission. Indulge in world-class wines and tasty bites while shopping and bidding on shoes and accessories at the Wine, Women & Shoes event. This year’s fundraiser is set to take place at The Presidential in East Norriton from 2 to 6 p.m.
Alzheimer’s is a disease which accounts for the majority of cases of dementia in the United States, affecting over 20 million people worldwide. The Alzheimer’s Association endeavors to eliminate Alzheimer’s through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for those affected, and to reduce the risk of dementia via the promotion of brain health.
Tickets to this special event are $125 general admission and $200 for VIP, with additional options available for groups of 4 and 10. There will also be two opportunities for a special dinner and pairing from Vintner, hosted on April 16 and 17 for $150 and $100 per person, respectively.
