Walking into Bradamant’s Confidence Party on Monday night to be greeted by lounge music and a glass of champagne started the night off on the right foot. Inside their recently acquired storefront at 1605 Walnut Street were mannequins with chevron style and leather shouldered body suits. Bold holly green, fuschia, gray, nude, and navy blue chiffon blouses were all stocked up along the walls, along with the brand’s popular Tux apparel – a basic collection of laser-cut, long staple cotton tops – on rolling racks nearby.

Scrolling through Bradamant’s online store is one thing, but to see these unique clothing lines in person is a whole other SAM_1487experience. The touch and feel of the blouses make you instantly think of impossibly chic ensembles to dress in, and the various events you might wear them to.

Bradamant’s Director of Marketing, Lindsay Connors, explained to us the importance of Bradamant’s message of confidence, which is instilled into women in the workplace through these modern, no-fidget bodysuits. Bradamant apparel has a tailored and polished look so that women can feel capable and confident in their ensembles, without having to worrying about fidgeting with tucked-in shirttails or smoothing out bumps under high-waisted pants and skirts. The practicality of these fashionable tops makes it easier for women who are constantly on the go to dress for success.

SAM_1477A Bala Cynwyd-based designer, founder Tamar Daniels worked to make sure that Bradamant would address the issue of translating comfortable bodysuits to the fashion market. Her solution is business and business casual blouses where the bottom’s opening is moved forward, so that it is easier for the wearer to reach. Nothing ever moves or shifts out of place, which makes the product even more desirable!

The best part is that all of the tops offer no visible panty lines or bunching because they are seamless at the bottom. They offer a smooth, clean finish with a beautiful, tucked in appearance that’s slimming on all body types. Bradamant offers their bodysuits at retail prices ranging from $58 to $188. Their basic collection, Tux, fetches for $50 to $80.

The word “bradamant” stems from the renaissance period, and is another name for a knight who fought alongside her father and brother. Just as the name implies, these body suits are the perfect staple for the modern woman, exuding femininity, power, class and worth.
