Tuesday, December 2nd – Giving Tuesday!
- 2014 Most Admired CEOs – The Philadelphia Business Journal will recognize the region’s 50 Most Admired CEOs; comprised of five dynamic leaders in ten categories at the inaugural Most Admired CEO Awards program. The event will be held at VIE from 5pm to 8:30pm.
Wednesday, December 3rd
- Glögg Holiday Mixer – Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce hosts their annual and traditional Scandinavian Glögg Holiday Mixer at The Racquet Club of Philadelphia from 6pm to 9pm. It will be a joyful evening of Hors D’oeuvres, Live music, Glögg, and Networking.
- Jazz Orchestra of Philadelphia rings in the holiday season at the Kimmel Center on December 3, as the first of a series of over 80 FREE and ticketed holiday programs across the Kimmel’s campus. Philly’s own renowned trumpeter Terell Stafford leads the Jazz Orchestra of Philadelphia featuring The Three Tenors: Bootsie Barnes, Larry McKenna and Jimmy Heath on December 3.
Thursday, December 4th
- Kermit Ruffins & the BBQ Swingers – If you haven’t seen this legendary New Orleans musician now is your chance. Head over to the Ardmore Music Hall – Doors are at 7:30pm and the show starts at 8:30pm.
- Deck the Ave! EPABID and Passyunk Avenue Revitalization Corporation (PARC) kick off the holidays with the annual Tree Lighting Party at the Singing Fountain (Tasker and EPA) from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
- The 2014 Social Media Training Day is an in-depth, hands-on workshop that will show you how to build an effective social marketing strategy. Held at the Philadelphia Business Journal, space is limited so register in advance.
Friday, December 5th

Saturday, December 6th
- DVLF’s annual TOY event has become an anticipated and popular event. It has been named, “Best LGBT Fundraiser” by the Philadelphia Gay News. TOY is The Delaware Valley Legacy Fund’s annual holiday fundraising event that raises money to support the mission of DVLF and to provide toys for patients at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and those served by ActionAIDS. Tickets are available, this is one party you don’t want to miss!
- Di Bruno Bros. Holiday Cheese Crawl – All 5 of our shops (12pm – 4pm) will be decked out in Holiday deliciousness, serving up free cheese, sweets, boozy pairings, and festive entertainment! Click here for more information!
- 2014 Philadelphia Bacon and Beer Festival – From 2:30pm to 5:00pm at 23rd St Armory, Eat Philly will once again bring together area restaurants and breweries to offer creative bacon-based dishes and fine brews. Proceeds from #PhillyBaconAndBeer will benefit Manna!
