A couple months ago, we luckily crossed paths with new entrepreneurs, Phan Cave. The two founders have been bringing Philly fans an easier way to go all-out at sporting events. Equipped with a trailer that includes private restrooms and holds a big flat-screen TV, Phan Cave knows how to pull out all the stops. They take care of all the food, beverages and games, which vary by package, and all guests have to do is just show up for a good time! We love their concept and flawless execution, so together we teamed up with Philadelphia Weekly and 97.5 The Fanatic to bring you the #TurkeyDayTailgate on Sunday, November 23rd from 8 a.m. at Lincoln Financial Field’s Lot N.
When we decided to partner up for an Eagles tailgate, the #TurkeyDayTailgate idea seemed like a perfect fit for us. While we love to throw a great party, it’s important to us to remember that not everybody in our community is as fortunate. This upcoming event is in support of Philabundance, and all guests are asked to donate at least one canned good to the organization. With their donation, guests will receive a free beer koozie. Our hope is to provide as many Philadelphians as we can with a good meal this holiday.
The Thanksgiving-themed tailgate includes a fully catered meal of turkey with hot gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and pumpkin cupcakes. Alcohol includes an open beer bar with Do Good Brewing and Guinness Blonde Lagers, along with Tito’s Handmade Vodka screwdrivers and Spodee-spiked hot apple cider. Snacks from Center City Soft Pretzel Co., Pretzel Crisps and KIND Snacks will also be provided throughout the event.
If you still aren’t sure, we can guarantee that this will not be a typical crazy-fun Eagles tailgate. The Bronzed Bee will be onsite to encourage people to #BleedGreen on a whole new level; the salon’s owner, Ashley Piotrowski, will be airbrushing green logos… or anything upon request. And stay tuned for surprise appearances by special guests to be announced as we get closer to game day.
