Monday, September 8th

Head over to 1901 Vine Street, at 11 am, to listen to Carlo Siracusa, a DVM, Ms, PhD, and Director of Animal Behavior Service at the University of Pennsylvania, explain the latest discoveries about the psychology and behavior of dogs over the last 5 years! - Center City District Restaurant Week- It is back, and in full swing, restaurant week is here! Starting on September 7th, and going through to September 19th, there are plenty of chances to taste some of Philadelphia’s amazing eats! - Benefit Exhibition for Ballet X- Bridgette Mayer Gallery is holding, for the fourth time, the benefit exhibition in support of Ballet X. More than 220 artists have been chosen to create 400 paintings, photographs, collages and sculptures for this exhibition. Wednesday, September 10th
- High Holiday Wine Tasting- Are you going to be in Philly for Rosh Hashanah or Yom Kippur? If you are, and are between the ages of 21-45, join others at the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, at 6pm to enjoy wine tasting, light hors d’oeuvres, and mingling with other Jewish graduates and young professionals. Sunday, September 14th
- Equal parts sass, class and Brooklyn brass, the Calamari Sisters return to Penn’s Landing Playhouse with their new show, Back to School with the Calamari Sisters. Stars of the public access cooking show Mangia Italiano, “sisters” Delphine and Carmela have now taken their culinary expertise on the road, bringing their unique (and hilarious) style of teaching to the masses.
- 12th Annual Jessie’s Day “Give the Gift of Scholarship” event with guest MC Mike Jerrick (Fox 29’s Good Day Philadelphia) at Urban Salon. They are turning donations into scholarships and dreams into realities! The event memorializes the life and legacy of Jessica Beth Schwartz, who was born with congenital heart disease.
