Monday, August 4th

  • Every Monday join us for QUIZZO with Host JB Farley (the 2012 “Best Of Philly Quizzo” host himself) at Strangelove’s! No pre-registration, no drink minimum. Just show up and show the room how smart you are! Prizes include gift cards to Strangelove’s and cool beer swag!

Tuesday, August 5th

  • Oyster House is celebrating National Oyster Day but offering a special four course oyster feast for $50!

  • Country/Western Night at the Phillies Game – need we say more?!?!
  • Jessie’s Day “Dollars for Scholars” Happy Hour at Capital Grille (13th and Chestnut) – Hor d’oeuvres and wine will be offered to guests the committee gets ready for the big event which remembers Jessica (Jessie) Beth Schwartz, who was born with a congenital heart disease.  To learn more click here.

Wednesday, August 6th

  • Phillies Stitch ‘n’ Pitch with Girl Geek Dinners Philadelphia – Whether it’s finishing an old project or starting a new one, fans are invited to knit, crochet, embroider, cross-stitch and needlepoint all while enjoying Phillies baseball.

Thursday, August 7th

  • Young Friends of the National Museum of American Jewish History present A Midsummer’s Eve – The annual summer fete celebrating life, love, and tu b’av!
  • Foodie Fest Happy Hour at Duke & Winston (1822 Chestnut St) – From 5pm to 8pm stop by D&W to celbrate with Concrete Cakes Philly’s Culinary Artists.  Free drinks, discounts, prizes and more!
  • Join us for the first annual Runners Night at Citizens Bank Park on Thursday, August 7 at 7:05 p.m. when the Phillies host the Houston Astros. Come out and enjoy runner-friendly concessions and a special giveaway.

Friday, August 8th

  • From 5pm to 9pm at Ladder 15 join Cocktails & Connections  – Created to give young professionals in the Philadelphia area an event where they can relax, socialize and have fun with like minded individuals after work.
  • “Love & Thyme” themed August Supper Club  at Dreaming Building with Chef Nana Wilmot.  Wine pairing along with the dinner is offered.  She’s a Philly PR Girl favorite, you won’t be disappointed.

Saturday, August 9th

  • “Rock the Block” a benefit for Rock to the Future – Rock to the Future is a 501(c)3 organization founded in 2010 that provides music education to Philadelphia’s underserved youth at no cost to them or their families. Using music, there programs ignite passion and creativity, support academic achievement, and improve self-esteem. They empower individuals and strengthen communities.
  • 2014 Stephen Starr – Garry Maddox Barbecue Challenge at Citizen’s Bank Park –  the thirteenth annual Barbecue Challenge is free and open to the public from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and offers something for everyone. Sample great food and don’t forget to vote for your favorite to win.

Sunday, August 10th

  • The Eagles will return to their former home, Franklin Field,  for one of three open practices during their 2014 Training Camp. Click here for more info!
  • WXPN welcomes Tori Amos to Verizone Hall at the Kimmel Center.  The show starts at 7:30pm and you are sure to hear major hits from Amos!
  • Clive Baker’s Crazyface produced by Brainspunk Theater opens up at the Christ Church Neighborhood House in Old City.  Shows run through August 24th.
