Monday, July 7th

  • DIY Taco Night at Lolita – Everyone loves a good taco, especially ones we make ourself.  Join in the fun at Lolita for DIY Taco Night! Each person of your party will choose a primary taco filler, served family style, then go ahead and load up the toppings and chow down, but make sure to save room for dessert. The price of the event is $35 per person.

Tuesday, July 8th

  • Hop Chef Philly – Head over to Union Transfer at 6pm for one of the best foodie events in Philly. Each chef will prepare and serve an innovative, original dish inspired by one of Ommegang Brewery’s five pairing principles. Local food experts will judge the plates, and the winner will compete against winners from other cities and take home the title of Hop Chef 2014. Tickets are $41 to attend.
  • Science After Hours Neuro-Night at the Museum – Take a tour of The Franklin Institute’s brand new exhibit Your Brain while enjoying a night of hands-on activities. See what this organ can really do as local researchers show you what mysteries they are uncovering right here in Philadelphia.Tickets are $15.00 for Non-Members $10.00 for Members and all attendees must be 21+.
  • Music in the Park   – From spring through fall, John F. Collins park plays host to several lunchtime concerts every week. This week Abdur Rashid will perform on keyboard. Concerts run from 12-1:30pm and are weather permitting.
  • B.Y.O. Quizzo w/ Johnny Goodtimes and Rad Girls at the Shops at the Comcast Center – Event is FREE and open to the public. Winning teams get $100 gift cards to spend in the Market & Shops at Comcast Center!

Wednesday, July 9th

  • Business After Hours – Join us at Business After Hours for an evening of networking at The Capital Grille. Make new contacts and business connections at this networking event offered free to Chamber members. Bring plenty of business cards and be prepared to expand your network! Nonmember Tickets are $35.00 and the program runs from 5-7pm.
  • Cocktails And Canvases – Paint Night + Happy Hour–  event at the Urban Art Gallery on Wednesdays. Learn how to paint, drink complimentary wine, BYOB and network with new people. Tickets are only $20 and you can get them here. What could be better?
  • Paddle Board Yoga in Manayunk – Paddle board yoga is now in Manayunk! Classes are located on the Schuykill River right behind the Manayunk Brewery and Restaurant. Sessions are every Wednesday in the summer from 6:30 PM-8 PM and the cost is $30 ($45 if you need a board rental)

Thursday, July 10th

  • Pairings on the Parkway – Every Thursday this summer , come to Sister Cities Park, from 5-8PM, for BYO Thursdays with live music from 5:30-7:30 pm. Take a seat at one of the tables inside or outside the cafe or bring a blanket and find a favorite spot under a tree or on the grass. Logan Square Café will feature a special summer grilling menu to complement the wine theme. Pairings is a FREE event.
  • Screenings Under the Stars: The Hunger Games– Come enjoy the beauty of the waterfront while watching blockbuster movies on our big screen. Films will begin at dusk, but be sure to come early as the best seats fill up fast.  Movie starts at 8:30 and you won’t want to miss out on Catching Fire!
  • Network After Work @ LAdder 15–  Grab drinks and network with professional from different fields at Network After Work. Events of the night allow guests a chance to get their name and brand in front of some of the top business professionals while visiting the city’s best After Work destinations.

Friday, July 11th

  • Ben FM presents the Replay America Festival  –  Come experience the Ultimate 80’s Festival at PPL Park! Tickets are $75-$150. Featured performers include The Go-Go’s, Martha Davis and The Motels, Patty Smyth and Scandal, Cutting Crew and Naked Eyes with Pete Byrne. You won’t wanna miss this!
  • Graveyard Shift at the Roxy – While investigating what appears to be an illegal bear hunting situation in the forests of Norway, a group of college filmmakers document something far more unlikely and way more dangerous.  Come enjoy a late night showing of Trollhunter at 11:59pm but try not to get to scared.

Saturday , July 12th

  • Crosby, Stills and Nash – They are bringing folk rock to the Borgata in Atlantic City! Come enjoy live music and what is sure to be a great show! The show starts at 8pm!
  • Pretty Fly for a 5k 90s Run –  Feeling Nostalgic? Pretty Fly for a 5K can help, by filling your Saturday morning with the COOLEST fun run in all the land! Complete with 90’s tunes along the course, bring a fanny pack filled with 90’s goodies (Slap bracelet, fruit snacks, warheads, pop rocks ,and foot by the fruit) and best of all Tang, Kool Aid and Capri Suns are going to be offered through the race so forget the water!

Sunday , July 13th

  • Yoga in the Cemetery.– Find inner tranquility and balance during this one-hour yoga session amongst the peaceful backdrop of Laurel Hill Cemetery at dusk. The session will be led by experienced yoga instructor, Emily Golomb. Sunset Yoga in the Cemetery will end with light refreshments. Please bring your own mat. All levels of experience are welcome. Ticket cost is $20 per person.
  • Haddonfield crafts and fine art festival– Visit Haddonfield to experience one of the communities best arts festivals. The day will be filled with vendors, crafts, food, and fun for the whole family! The festival runs from 12-5pm and entertainment begins at 12!
