The unofficial start of summertime has arrived when the Center City District kicks off the annual Sips event, beginning today (June 4th) until August 27th! Sips brings some of the best happy hour deals around, including $5 cocktails, $4 wine and $3 beer, along with half-priced appetizers to top it off.
This year, more than 80 bars across Philadelphia are participating in Sips, which takes place every Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. There are a variety of food and varying at each restaurant. Find the full list of participating restaurants here.
Last Wednesday, the Sips preview party took place at Marathon Grill on 1818 Market Street. Attendees got a taste of what a SIPS happy hour would feel like. Sips sponsor, Golia Vodka, provided fun giveaways. Philly’s own DJ Royale was there for summer vibes and good fun; he’ll be there all summer from 5-10 p.m.
Whether you need a break, just finished a long work day, or are just passing through, Sips is certainly the event to brighten your Hump Day. All attendees must be 21 years of age or older to attend.
