Love was pouring out of the 23rd Street Armory at this year’s PSPCA Puppy Love Valentine’s Day Party. The Philly PR Girl, accompanied our favorite Beagle mix, Gucci, had a great night surrounded by friends, food, and furry fun.
The hosts of this year’s Puppy Love were Smokin’ Betty’s and Devil’s Alley. Other small munchies were provided by Philadelphia’s best food trucks including Mac Mart, Street Food Philly, Spot Gourmet Burgers, and Undrgrnd Donuts, offerring one-of-a-kind dishes. We indulged on a donut with bacon and chocolate on it! (Calories don’t count for Valentine’s Day, right?) Of course our four-legged friends were provided with plenty of tasty treats as well.
Guests moved and grooved to Mix Band and DJ Bizz of Ahh Fresh DJ School. Even the Smak Parlour Fashion Truck came and enjoyed the night. But the piece de resistance was certainly the puppy fashion show. From peacoats to tutus, these dogs sure knew how to dress!
Not everyone is lucky enough to have found a soulmate already though. The PSPCA let guests play with their “barkelor and barkelorettes,” that were all up for adoption. For our cat-lovers, there was a Kitty Korner that had every color feline looking for a home.
Overall, the night was one to remember. Getting to party and play with our pet pals was more of a treat than any date will ever be. Shopping, puppies and charity… sounds like true love to us!
