  • National Radio Day – Give your iPod a break, go old school!
  • Doug Benson at Helium Comedy Club
  • Phils Game – $1 Dog Night!
  • EAGLES play their second Pre-Season Match Up Against The Patriots at 8pm – Head down to Xfinity Live or the Piazza to check out the game on the BIG SCREEN!
  • BYOV – Bring Your Own Vinyl at Ortleib’s Lounge

Tuesday, August 21st

  • Guest Chef Happy Hour at Morgan’s Pier with Kevin Sbraga (Top Chef, Sbraga Restaurant) cooking a Brazilian-style BBQ. 5-7pm

Wednesday, August 22nd

  • Concerts in the Park featuring Ground Up (7-9 in Rittenhouse)
  • Join XTU from 5-8pm at the Water Works Resturant for their Summer BBQ to help raise money for the BackPack Challange.

  • Art After 5 – Friday evenings take on a whole new groove with Art After 5, a unique blend of entertainment from 5:00–8:45 in the Great Stair Hall of the Art Museum.
  • Stone Temple Pilots at Ovation Hall inside the Revel Hotel in AC
  • Fox 29’s Pack the Bus!  Every summer the Good Day crew ask their viewers to help them pack a school bus with school suppliers for kids in the area!  Stop by 4th and Market and donate to this good cause!

Saturday, August 25th

  • Naked Bike Ride through Philly!  If you havn’t seen this you might want to check it out.  (might is the key word haha)
  • Sublime at Festival Pier with Cypress Hill and Pepper
  • Keith Urban at the Borgata in AC
  • Hawaiian Statehood Celebration at the Historic Philadelphia Center on 6th & Chestnut Streets and at the Betsy Ross House on 3rd & Arch Streets. Come check out the free Hawaiian kids’ crafts, kids’ tattoos, stories, and more!
  • Artie Lange at the Borgata
  • 40th Street Summer Series featuring Adventuredrum.  Adventuredrum is a new dance band led by Philadelphia composer and percussionist Christopher Sean Powell, best known for his work in Need New Body and Man Man. This Philadelphia-based project brings together a who’s who of local musicians exploring rhythms constructed from sampled sound, exotic percussion, synthesizers and drum kits.
