Monday, August 6th

  • National Root Beer Float Day – Who knew there was such a thing?!?
  • Movie Monday at the Troc presents: Coming to America

Tuesday, August 7th

  • Beastie Boys Tribute Night at The Fire!  Brooklyn rap-rocker Don McCloskey hosts DJ’s MC’s and house tribute band  for this special event.  Tickets are $10 and the show starts at 9pm.
  • Network After Work at Lucky Strike from 6pm – 9pm.  I’m all about networking and meeting new people so when I find out about networking events I’ll let you all know.  For more info on this event click here.
  • Childish Gambino (aka Donald Glover from Community) performs live at the Riverstage with Philly’s hometown rapper Chill Moody and Philly’s DJ Group Les Professionels

  • It’s the fist EAGLES pre-season game at the Linc for the 2012-2013 Season!  If you don’t have tickets go check out the game at Xfinity Live!
  • Sheryl Crow performs in Atlantic City at Caesars

Friday, August 10th

  • Peach Music Festival at Montage Mountain (in Scranton, PA) featuring the Allman Brothers, Zac Brown Band, OAR, and much more!
  • Jersey/Philly Band Dot Square at World Cafe Live, but before they do catch them on Radio 104.5’s “Live at 5.”
  • Head down to Race Street Pier for the Friday Night Fireworks display starting at 9:15!

Saturday, August 11th

  • Peek-A-Boo Revue (Philly’s Premiere Neo-Burlesque Show) at the Troc!  Doors open at 9pm, show starts at 10pm.
  • Peach Festival and Annual Sidewalk Sale at Peddlers Village Saturday and Sunday!
  • Phillies Alumni Night at the Ballpark! Fans are invited to celebrate history, as Phillies legends return for this annual event. More than 45 former Phillies – representing eight decades – will be introduced on the field prior to the game.
