  • Claude Giroux honored with the John Wanamaker Athletic Award at a Private Ceremony.  The award is presented annually to the athlete, team or organization that has done the most to reflect credit upon Philadelphia and to the team or sport in which they excel.

Wednesday, June 6th

  • Center City Sips starts!  Every year during the summer Philly has specials throughout the city every Wednesday!  To find this year’s list of participating restaurants & bars click here.   (Insider tip – on nice days it gets crowded so go right at 5pm)
  • Olde City’s Irish Pol presents: Barrels of Monkeys – “Monkey” Beer Specials and special guest bartender & Radio DJ Monkeyboy

  • Be Well Boot Camp (presented by Philadelphia Magazine) From 10-3:30pm at Drexel’s Recreation Center come and get advice from health experts, try healthy & organic food, and walk along the marketplace full of products & samples.
  • Drake at Susquahanna Bank Center
  • Sting at the Borgota
  • Muck Ruckus – The “muckiest” time you will ever have for a good cause!  The National MS Society’s event formerly known as Mud Run MS Philly take place Saturday & Sunday.
