Philly PR Girl and Phan Cave celebrated the Eagles home game this week with a #TurkeyDayTailgate to support our team and our community as well. For every ticket sold, a canned good donation was also collected to benefit Philabundance, the region’s largest hunger relief organization. The Eagles’ mascot, Swoop, even came to celebrate the cause before the big game. Philly PR Girl Sunday Funday
Our first Sunday Funday event was held on November 17, 2014 at the Philly Phaithful and Broad Street Broad Showroom in Northern Liberties. We are huge fans of both brand and their showroom is an awesome place for events. We had some great sponsors for our party including Spodee Wine, Do Good Brewing Company, Georgina’s Catering, and Pretzel Crisps! Fun was had by all and the best part of the day, an Eagles win!
Global Puppy Pop Up
Pop Up events are the new big things and we love them! We also love our puppies! In partnership with Global Philly we threw a “Global” Puppy Pop Up at the Schuylkill River Dog Park. We invited the Red Paw Relief Team to raise awareness for their organization. We had a beautiful day and met some great people and dogs! To see pictures from the event visit our Facebook Page.
Summer 2013 Networking Happy Hour
In September the Philly PR Girl team had a fun networking event at Replica Creative. PR and social media professionals, bloggers, local media and other professionals came together, exchanges business cards, and had a great time! Even though networking is a key component of our events we decided to make this event an end of summer happy hour. Generous sponsors donated food and beverages for guests. Thanks to Slice PA, Sweets by Candace, Pretzel Crisps, Spodee Wine, Zynnie Bakes, Tito’s Vodka, and Flying Fish! Click here to see the pictures!

Professional Networking Event for PR, Social Media, & Media Professional
On Thursday, October 25, 2012 we welcomed over 50 professionals to Xfinity Live for our Social Media & PR Networking Event. It was a great night filled with networking! Donations were made to Living Beyond Breast Cancer.
Here’s what one attendee had to say:
“I am so happy I got to attend Philly PR Girl’s awesome networking event at Xfinity live because I have received so many great opportunities from just that one event alone. I am currently working at a job now and I got it from handing out my business card to someone I met at Kate’s event. He passed my info along to someone who needed a host. If it wasn’t for Kate and her great networking events, I would never have gotten this opportunity. Her events rock!”
– Gina Gannon – TV Host & On-Air Personality
“Kate is a talented networker that can mix and mingle with the best of them. She uses her skills to host great networking events that attract a diverse group of folks that range from fashionistas, to up-and-coming PR pros, to fellow bloggers, to young professionals. Everytime I have attended I made great connections and always leave looking forward to the next one.”
– Kory Aversa – Aversa PR
2012 Fall Happy Hour for Social Media & PR Professionals
On September 20th 10 smart & savvy women gathered at Vango Lounge & Skybar to discuss PR & the Entertainment industry in Philly. A smaller crowd provides a much more intimate setting and you really get to know the people who are there. Thanks to everyone that attended!
May 2012 PR & Media Industry Networking Event
Close to 75 attendees met up at Xfinity Live to network with like-minded individuals in the Philly Media, Journalism, PR, and Entertainment industry. Many connections were formed at this event and we are very proud of the fact that we helped bring some talented individuals together.
Here are what some of the attendee’s had to say:
“What I love most about Kate’s networking events is the personalization. You aren’t just another “Hello, my name is…” sticker, Kate does her homework and knows even before the first drink has been poured who she’s going to introduce to whom. I might not be shy, but a room full of strangers at a networking event can send me fleeing to a quiet corner with awkward flashbacks of junior high school racing through my subconscious. But Kate takes all the social butterflies out of networking and makes it into the fun AND productive time it should be. At the end of the night, you won’t want to leave, and you’ll walk away with a handful of business cards and connections to people who really want to collaborate beyond just that night’s conversation.”
– Jackie Rupp, Publisher, Philly Current Magazine
“Kate is one of the most dynamic PR Professionals out there. The networking events are fun and inclusive. She accomplishes an atmosphere where everyone enjoys themselves and better than that, enjoys getting to know the interesting people in the room. Kate sets the tone and by the end of the event, everyone feels like they know each other well enough to do business. I highly recommend Kate as a PR Professional. She supports you and your organization and makes sure the world knows about you.”
– Greta Russo, President of Pet Support Phashion Charity Affair
“What a fantastic event full of opportunity.”
– Andrea Lieberman, Marketing & Event Professional
2012 Summer Happy Hour
Philly PR Girl Happy Hours are much more low-key then our networking events. A smaller crowd provides a much more intimate setting and you really get to know the people who are there.
Here’s what one attendee said:
“Most of these after hour events like going to a prom & just standing around, but am so glad I was at the Philly PR Girl summer event!”
– Jeff Adam Baxt, Marketing & Media Consulting
