Best Places to Watch the Super Bowl

 

 

Our team has made it to SUPER BOWL LII!!! This is definitely worth going out to celebrate. While all of us can’t make it to Minnesota, there are tons of great Philly bars to watch the big game at… which is the next best thing! Here are some local bars to watch the Birds at!

Theater of Living Arts– All ages welcome for the TLA tailgate. Admission is free with buffet packages available for $25 per person! The buffet will be open for 2 hours starting at kickoff, featuring some classic tasty tailgate favorites! Doors open at 5 p.m., with the show beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Yakitori Boy* – Yakitori Boy is putting karaoke on hold in their main lounge and showing the big game on their 128” TV with surround sound. They’re also rolling out some Super Bowl food and drink offers to celebrate the occasion. Guests can enjoy $4 Bud Light and Bud Light Lime, as well as a signature Eagles shot for just $5 during the game. Food specials include $6 Fire Dragon wings, $10 Eagles roll, $5 Old Bay cheese fries, and $15 Chef’s choice Yakitori Combo. Karaoke will resume following the game.

Pennsylvania 6 – Penn 6 is re-opening for one night only to watch the Birds in the Superbowl! Both floors open with a big screen projector and multiple other tvs to watch the game. Open bar and food from whistle to whistle (cheesesteaks, wings, mozz sticks and all the other goodies etc etc ). Get your tickets here.

SPiN Philadelphia – “Not Your Basic Bowl” Super Bowl party at SPiN. Partnering with Not Your Basic Brunch, this will be no ordinary viewing party. There will be ping-pong tables to rent, plus a ping-pong halftime show you won’t want to miss. So eat, drink, ‘pong, and cheer the home team on all day long! McGillin’s – For just $5 McGillin’s will be hosting an all day Super Bowl party and serving their GREEN beer for the game. They will be viewing the game on both of their TV’s and projector screens. Entry for 1st floor of bar is first come, first serve.

Tailgate Block Party – St. Stephen’s Green is shutting down 17th street and hosting a family and dog friendly block party! They will be having food and drink specials, face painting, corn hole, and a best dressed contest (including dogs).

Down Nightclub Philadelphia– Doors opening at 5pm there will be food, dancing, and limited edition green Stateside Urbancraft Vodka bottles. Plus enjoy live music by DJ MUVE!

Misconduct Tavern– Misconduct Tavern Super Bowl Party is a free viewing party beginning at 11:30 a.m. and goes till midnight. Watch the game at one of the best sports bars in the city.

The Filmore Philadelphia– The Filmore is holding a viewing party for all ages, with free admission. Party goers can purchase a buffet ticket to enjoy cheesesteak egg rolls, pretzels, wings, and so much more more. Drink specials will be available at a cash bar.

O’Neals Pub– Looking to get an early start for the day? O’Neals is getting the party started early with doors opening at 9 a.m. Pre-game specials include breakfast sandwiches, Bloody Mary’s, and mimosas for $3.50. From the start of the game until close, draft specials will be offered, including $3.50 Guinness, Stella, and Heineken.  

Punch Line Philly– The FRIENDS & FAM Game Day: Tailgate & Watch Party begins at 4 p.m. The event is for all ages and admission is free. A ticket can be purchased for the buffet and seat in showroom. RSVP here.
