Monday, November 6

  • 20 venues. 100 events. 1 week only. It’s Manayunk Cocktail Week! Celebrate of the craft of the cocktail at participating bars and restaurants for a variety of tastings, dinner pairings, parties, cocktail competitions, and happy hours.
  • Lover of all things mozzarella? Kitchen Science: Mozzarella Making with Alex Jones may be the event you’ve been waiting for. From 6 to 8:30 p.m., learn the ropes of making the beloved cheese at home with this step-by-step class.
  • Party with a purpose at From X’s and O’s to H2O, supporting the Chris Long Foundation. Proceeds will focus on the Waterboys mission, dedicated to raising funds and awareness to provide clean water to East African communities in desperate need.

Tuesday, November 7

  • Saxbys is opening their newest cafe at 1800 Chestnut Street today! The entire day is packed full of special events and a Pay-As-You-Wish celebration. They’ll match 100% of every purchase of opening day to double the impact for Saxbys Fellowship, a program in partnership with CCP for 10 scholarships. Join Mayor Jim Kenney, Philadelphia Eagles players, and many more guests.
  • Watch the Philadelphia 76ers take on the Jazz, while sipping Jack Daniels cocktails, eating delicious food, and enjoying live entertainment at XFinity Live. Document the fun by using the hashtag #JackTipOffPA when sharing photos and comments on social media.
  • Grizzly Bear is coming to The Fillmore. The Brooklyn-based rock band is most famously known for their songs, “Two Weeks” and “Mourning Sound”.

Wednesday, November 8

  • Fergie’s Pub is hosting Calendar Boys, a comedy show turned pageant shining the spotlight on five of the funniest guys in Philadelphia. Attend this free event for an hour of nonstop laughter.
  • Resistance Photography: A Year of 45. Opening Reception is a gallery made up of recently taken protesting pictures by five local photographers. Explore the art while sipping on light refreshments from 7 to 9 p.m.

Thursday, November 9

  • Philadelphia magazine is presenting Thinkfest 2017! With the many networking opportunities, speaker sessions, and end of the night cocktail reception, attendees are guaranteed to make professional connections. Register now to reserve your spot for this day long event.
  • Today is day one of the four day Philadelphia Museum of Art Contemporary Craft Show. Over 150 of the best craft artists from across the United States will be demonstrating and selling their work in honor of the 40th Anniversary of this grand event.
  • Join The Best Day of My Life So Far for happy hour! This nonprofit organization focuses on improving the health and well-being of the elderly through the telling of stories. From 6 p.m to 9 p.m sip drinks with both old and new friends and help raise awareness for this great cause.

Friday, November 10

  • Lace up your skates and grab your gloves because The Rothman Institute Ice Rink at Dilworth Park opens today! Skate around the rink with the family or on a date. Then, get cozy by the fire and warm up with some yummy hot chocolate.

Saturday, November 11

  • Food Truck Craze is taking over the JCpenney parking lot to host the King of Prussia Food Truck Festival. With more than 15 trucks to choose from, it’s easy to find something for all tastebuds.
  • Dressbarn in Bala Cynwyd is hosting a free fall fashion show! Starting at 7 p.m., guests can shop with 20% off their entire regular price purchase, while enjoying a live DJ, refreshments, and a surprise raffle.

Sunday, November 12

  • Stressed over the planning of your big day? From 11 a.m., Philly mag presents Brides, Bubbly, & Brunch. A runway fashion show will feature the newest bridal trends. Chat with wedding retailers in the Philadelphia region while savoring bubbly and festive cider.   
  • It’s your last chance to catch The Phantom of the Opera at the Kimmel Center! This classic Broadway show features the well-known songs “Music of the Night”, All I Ask Of You”, and “Masquerade”, along with an orchestra made up of 52 musicians. Get tickets before they’re gone.
