Monday, April 24

  • Raise a glass to the Philadelphia Science Festival. Start this week’s festivities at Science on Tap Un-tapped: Scientific Malarkey. Debunk the most outrageous scientific theories with a panel at National Mechanics while grabbing drinks.
  • That’s a wrap for Jazz Appreciation Month. To celebrate, Jazz Bridge presents a free jazz concert with the gifted and highly-trained musician, Laurin Talese, performing at the Oak Lane Library.

Tuesday, April 25

  • Attention all Philly foodies! Caribbean Cuisine Week is here. The four day event engages Philadelphia’s finest restaurants for a fun-filled experience of food, music, and fundraising.
  • Calling all passionate entrepreneurs: check out PHILLY Lady Boss. It’s an intimate series of networking events for ambitious women entrepreneurs. This week’s roundtable discussion focuses on women with a special interest in supporting local businesses.

Wednesday, April 26

  • Yoga Journal is exploring American yoga culture by traveling the U.S. and will be making a stop in our city! Philly Yoga Factory will be hosting the 2017 Live Be Yoga Tour.

Thursday, April 27

  • History will be made this week as the best track stars compete in the 123rd Penn Relays Carnival. Franklin Field will be crowded with athletes and fans, up to an anticipated 100,000 people will be in on the madness!
  • Celebrate with Philly Black Pride! Multiple events will take place through the weekend for the black LGBTQ+ communities and allies to celebrate, network, and build awareness.
  • Take a sneak peek as dancers of PA Ballet have a public rehearsal for MANNA’s Shut Up &  Dance. The open house will be at Pennsylvania Ballet Louise Reed Center for Dance and starts at 6:30 p.m.

Friday, April 28

  • The 7th annual Philly Tech Week takes place this week to celebrate all the technology and innovation happening throughout the region. #PTW2017 events are categorized as creative, civic, development, business, sciences, media, and access. Start with the Innovation Crawl, a tour across the city’s collaborative working spaces.
  • If you love a classic romantic comedy, don’t miss one of the best operas. Philadelphia Opera presents Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro, a tale of a satirical tangled love story.

Saturday, April 29

Sunday, April 30
