GIVEAWAY! 2017 Philly Farm & Food Fest

As avid supporters of the Philadelphia community, we are thrilled to be working Philly Farm & Food Fest (PF3) on their fourth annual event. This is one of the country’s largest single-day local food festivals held right here in the foodie city of Philadelphia. In fact, we’re so excited that we want to share a chance for our readers to attend! Starting today, enter the PPRGxPF3 Ticket Giveaway* to win a pair of FREE tickets to this event on Saturday, April 8.

Show us how you celebrate the local food community all year round via Instagram. Post your best shot of a local farmer’s market, favorite artisanal food, backyard garden, or any other way you get in touch with the region’s makers and growers.

The rules are simple:

  1. Make sure you’re following @Philly_PR_Girl
  2. Use the hashtag #PPRGxPF3
  3. Tag @PhillyFarmFest + a friend

For the first time, PF3 will debut on a Saturday, making room for more exhibitors, live animals, and fun than ever before. The action-packed day will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, Hall F. This is a great opportunity to connect with the area’s makers and artisans, try new local foods, sign up for a CSA, chat with the region’s outstanding farmers, and celebrate the region’s agriculture community.

In addition to unique exhibitors, the event is home to the PF3 Kitchen. Presented by PA Preferred, this year’s schedule promises a behind-the-scenes adventure with local all-star chefs, butchers, and the farmers they source from every day. Other anticipated features include the Curd Convention, which returns with host Aimee Olexy, owner and founder of Talula’s Garden, Daily, and Table. Stop by the Apple Adventure exhibit and learn how to make hard apple cider with Pennsylvania-grown apples. Take in the sights of the vibrant Living Farm Display, growing right on the Convention Center floor.

To purchase tickets online, click here. There are also many ways to upgrade your ticket and get the most of the PF3 experience. Enjoy a VIP Industry Preview hour without the large crowds, but hurry – there are only 500 available! Another option is to add access to the Local Libations Lounge; grab tastings from brewers, owners and distillers, while learning about a rich and continuing history of spirits in the region. All children under 12 are admitted free of charge. They are encouraged to explore this year’s expanded Kids Corral with exciting hands-on workshops, including a play area, storytelling and more.

* Giveaway contest runs 3/24 – 3/31. Winner will be announced 3/31 around 5 p.m.
