Monday, July 14th
- Come eat drink and be merry as we watch another episode of MasterChef with Philly’s own Courtney Lapresi together! They are taking over Growler’s Bar at 7:00pm to play a round of Cards Against Humanity before the show starts. Check out our interview with Courtney here!

Tuesday, July 15th
- R2L Summer Harvest Dinner – This summer, R2L celebrates their farming partners by bringing them into the restaurant for Harvest Dinners, so diners can join in appreciating and sharing a meal with them. Four courses at $75 per person (not including tax or gratuity).
- PRSA Philly Summer Happy Hour – Beat the heat this summer while networking with local industry PR professionals. Wednesday, July 16th
- Target Community Nights – The Franklin Institute welcomes you to join in the fun at these FREE educational and fun-filled science experience. The Franklin Institute’s famous exhibitions, special programs, and themed activities.Admission is free and there is no need to pre-register. Doors open at 5:00PM.
- Magic Carpet by Candy Coated at The Oval– Join the Association for Public Art, Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, and Fairmount Park Conservancy at The Oval for the public celebration of Magic Carpet and official kick-off of The Oval’s summer season. A free event for all ages, the evening will include food trucks, performances, face painting, crafts, and more. (Rain Date: July 17th)
Thursday, July 17th
- Pairings on the Parkway – Every Thursday this summer , come to Sister Cities Park, from 5-8PM, for BYO Thursdays with live music from 5:30-7:30 pm. Take a seat at one of the tables inside or outside the cafe or bring a blanket and find a favorite spot under a tree or on the grass. Saturday , July 19th
- Ice Cream! Reading Terminal Market! – The Reading Terminal Market’s Sidewalk Sizzle and Ice Cream Freeze is back on July 19, 10am-4pm. Come on out for this quintessential summer festival featuring ice cream and BBQ grills! Some of the highlights include grilled fruit sundaes, tacos, kabobs, burgers, lamb roasted on a spit, gelato, and more. Live music and arts and crafts will round out the festivities.
- SUMMER ALE FESTIVAL 2014 – It’s time to rumble in the jungle at Summer Ale Festival at the Philadelphia Zoo! Here you can sample more than 40 regional craft beers and enjoy live music—all while surrounded by brilliantly colored birds, majestic great apes and exceptional big cats that call the Zoo’s lush gardens and exhibits home.
