Monday, February 24th

  • Flogging Molly at the Electric Factory – Radio 104.5 presents the 10th Annual Green 17 Tour starring Flogging Molly, a seven-piece Celtic punk band. Opening acts include The Drowning Men and Residuels. Doors open at 7:30 pm and tickets are $44.50.

Tuesday, February 25th

  • Philadelphia Career Fair – Sign up now for the chance to meet directly with hiring managers in the Greater Philadelphia area at the Crowne Plaza in King of Prussia from 6 to 8 pm. Representatives spanning from many industries will be in attendance to speak with executive-level experienced professionals as well as entry level and recent college grads. Free for all job seekers!
  • Justin Timberlake at the Wells Fargo Center!
  • Mamma Mia! – Take a seat at the Academy of Music from the 25th through March 2nd for the smash hit musical set to a soundtrack of ABBA’s greatest hits. In preparation of Sophie’s destination wedding, she calls upon three mysterious men from her mother’s past in hopes that one of them will reveal himself to be her long-absent father. Tickets for this feel-good comedy run $20 to $115.

Wednesday, February 26th

  • The Magnificent Seven – FREE FOR ALL comedy presents a stand-up showcase at the Boot & Saddle. Doors open at 8 pm and the show begins at 8:30, with tickets sold in advance and at the door for $7. Aaron Hertzog and Alison Zeidman will host the evening, with a lineup that includes winner and finalists of Helium Comedy Club’s Philly’s Phunniest competition.
  • Pay-As-You-Wish Wednesday Nights – Enjoy full access to the Philadelphia Museum of Arts’ premier collections 5 pm through 8:45 pm with a pay-what-you-can admission price. Watch international independent films, “Make Stuff” in a drop-in art-making workshop, or walk through surprising galleries of work by regional artists, musicians, and local cultural organizations.

Thursday, February 27th

  • Dim Sum Pop Up Shop – Join the Philly PR Girl team and concierge shopping service Dim Sum at the Bluestone Fine Arts Gallery in Old City for a night of art and fine artisan goods. The works of artists Cara Romano, Rachel Sherman, Janell Wysock and Jackie Haines will be featured, and guests can shop Dim Sum’s collection of hand-crafted jewelry, accessories, and housewares while enjoying complimentary bites and beverages. Free to the public from 5 to 8:30pm!
  • #LoveIsInTheAir2014 – Playing off of the Philadelphia Flower Show’s theme of “ArtiCulture”, Uncommon Events and Stephen STARR Events team up again for their annual bridal showcase at the Horticultural Center. Table designs will be inspired by Picasso, Seurat, Frida Kahlo and Jackson Pollock designs, and guests can browse jewelry from Tiffany & Co., invitations from The Papery, and gowns and accessories by new Philadelphia shop, Elizabeth Johns Bridal, among numerous of other local vendors.
  • The Mardi Gras Ball Tour with Ivan Neville’s Dumpstafunk and Kermit Ruffins and the Barbecue Swingers at the Trocadero. If you’ve never seen Kermit this is a must attend!

Friday, February 28th

  • Mardi Gras Manhattans – Celebrate Mardi Gras with a special tasting of 4 styles of Manhattans – dry, sweet, perfect and brandy – at More Than Old in Old City. From 7:30 to 9pm, samples will be poured by special guest expert Brian Freedman, Editor-in-Chief of Drink Me magazine and food, wine and spirits writer and educator in the Philadelphia area. Each $25 ticket includes drinks, beads, and food, plus a special 50% promotion off of select drinkware for the evening.
  • PHS Young Friends Preview Party – Join the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society Young Friends for a two-part party that begins at The Barnes with an open bar, appetizers and live music by The Sermon!. Then grab a courtesy ride from Philadelphia Trolley Works to the Flower Show for a preview at the Convention Center before the exhibition is open to the public, with sets by DJ Adrian Hardy and Bandaloop vertical dance troupe.

Saturday, March 1st

  • Vintage Kicks NJ record release party!  (Don’t worry the Philly release show is coming up!)  The show is at Studio Luloo in Oaklyn.
  • Philadelphia Mummers Mardi Gras – 93.3 WMMR’s Jacky Bam Bam hosts Philadelphia’s first Mardi Gras Mummers parade at the Piazza at Schmidt’s. From 3 to 9 pm, join the Mummers for live music performances by local bands and DJs, body painted dancers, magicians, stilt walkers, jugglers, live mural art by Allyius McIlwaine, live t-shirt printing by Awesome Dudes Printing and more! Tickets are $15 for 21+.
  • Main Line Fashion Week – For its debut, the Main Line Fashion week kicks off at Saks 5th Avenue in Bala Cynwyd for a free event with a live DJ, wine, cupcakes, casual modeling and plenty of shopping, and continues through the 7th. See the full list of events and purchase tickets here!
  • 17th Annual Philly Fur Ball Charity Event – Morris Animal Refuge celebrates 140 years of advancement in animal welfare with a bash at the 23rd Street Armory. All proceeds go directly to the Morris Animal Refuge, and tickets include signature cocktails from an open bar, gourmet cuisine, participation in a silent auction and raffle prizes.
  • Blck Stne Pop-up Shop at The Transfer Station on Manayunk’s Main Street featuring local artists selling handmade products. Artists include Samuel Markey, a photographer based in West Philly; Martha Wasser: a singer, stage actress, artist and creator of Amour Artistique’s art, paper crafts, and modern calligraphy; Francesca Van Stolk’s collection of Half Drawing, Half Dreaming: Prints and Illustrations. This is a cash only event.

Sunday, March 2nd

  • Gala Flamenca – The Merriam Theater hosts four of the world’s most celebrated flamenco dancers will be in town for a single performance at 7 pm. Experience the true spirit of this lively Spanish folk dance completed in voluminous ruffled dresses with singing, guitar playing, and hand claps. Tickets are $35 to $62.
  • Atlantic City Restaurant Week – From March 2nd through 8th, enjoy the best eats from Atlantic City’s dining scene with a $15.14 lunch or $33.14 at each participating restaurant.
