- Design Home 2014: 2014 marks Philadelphia magazine’s 13th Design home! This year, the design home is nestled amongst the Tudor homes of Wyndmoor, PA. - 200th Anniversary Art Exhibition: The 200th Exhibition is a juried competition which invited many artists to submit work featuring historic properties, landmarks and/or places listed on the National Register of Historic places in our very own Philadelphia! - “Great Expectations” Presented by Arden Theatre: Charles Dickens’ classic coming of age novel springs to life on the Arden Theatre stage! - Run For Your Life: Philadelphia Runners are bracing themselves for Run4UrLife which is the regions spookiest 3K Fun Run through a historical cemetery. This scary fun run benefits local nonprofit, MANNA. Registration begins at 6pm, and the run starts at 7pm. The cost of the run is $30 and includes a t-shirt! - Kimmel Center: Mahler’s “Resurrection”: The composer had a close association with The Philadelphia Orchestra! The ‘Resurrection’ Symphony is another major choral work, popular in his lifetime, exploring the themes of life and death. - 38th Annual Muge Lithuanian Fair: Starting at noon, and continuing until 8pm, celebrate Lithuania’s rich cultural heritage in Philadelphia! Enjoy two incredible days of live music, folk dancing, and family fun! Eat traditional Lithuanian food, and sip some of Lithuania’s favorite brews.
