Monday, August 18th

  • City Fit Girls Shopping & Networking Event – Looking to shop AND network? Everyone is invited, so grab your friends because the team from City Fit Girls is hosting an event that you can’t pass up! Head to Loft on Walnut Street from 7pm-9pm. Don’t forget your business cards!  (Big Discounts!)

Tuesday, August 19th

  • Sour Fest at Devil’s Den- All beer lovers should participate in this unique, fun opportunity! Head to Devil’s Den at 1148 S. 11th Street around 7pm to participate in creating your own sour beer, and learn brewing techniques from an expert, Don Russell.   • Strangelove’s Beer School- Beer school is in session every first Tuesday of the month at Strangeloves located on 11th street between Walnut & Locust. You can “pay what you wish,” but have to donate something at the door, and all proceeds go to “Share Our Strength,” a foundation that aims to end childhood hunger.   •  Jimmy Buffet Concert- Jimmy Buffet is coming to town and will be holding a concert at the Susquehanna Bank Center, in Camden New Jersey at 8pm. Grab your friends for some awesome music, and some summer fun! For tickets, Click here! 

Wednesday, August 20th

  • Paper Dress Competition for The City of Hope – All designers, drag queens and fashionistas, you can’t miss this event! Not only will there be a runway show, but also a competition for the best design made out of ONLY paper, at Tabu on 200 South 12th Street starting at 5pm. A $10 cover is well worth it, because the proceeds go to The City of Hope foundation. Not only will you be supporting a great cause, you will have a fun packed night! Click here for more info!
  • Concerts In The Park – A free concert held in Rittenhouse Square where you and your friends can go to listen to DJ Cash Money, Worldtown Soundsystem, and Pablo Batista and the Mambo Syndicate. The Concert starts at 6pm, so be sure to get there early so you can pick the perfect spot to enjoy the show! Click here for more info!

Thursday, August 21st

  • Throwback Thursday Movie Night – Attention all movie lovers! From 6pm-9pm an “oldie, but goodie” movie from the ‘50s or ‘60s will be played in the Franklin Square indoor pavilion. Tickets are required but include beer, wine, soft drinks, and snacks for the evening. Tickets are $15 when bought in advance, but can be bought at the door for $20.   • Diamonds and Denim Event- This year the Diamonds and Denim event will start at 6:30pm and will be held at Vie located at 600 North Broad Street. Enjoy mingling with professional athletes, celebrities, and musicians while drinking cocktails and indulging in a delicious three-course dinner.   • Eagles VS. Steelers 1st Preseason Home Game – E-A-G-L-E-S, Eagles! Its that time of the year again, Football season! At 7:30pm the Eagles will kickoff their first preseason home game against the Steelers. Grab some food, beer and friends, and be sure to support our Eagles!
  • Diner En Blanc PHL- At 7pm, be prepared to take your picnic basket, and all-white everything, to the revealed location! Eat, drink, and be merry with thousands of other guests, in a unique location, under the stars of our great city! For more information and event regulations follow the link! 
  • Take a Bite Out of MS- Join the Association of Networking Professionals at the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ at 6:30pm. Proceeds benefit the MS society, and tickets cost $100 dollars but include a buffet, cocktails, and hor d’oeuvres. Support a good cause, and enjoy the incredible underwater wildlife! Friday, August 22nd

  • Cooking Up Couture- Held at Front & Palmer, this is a fun evening, every foodie and fashionista should attend! One feature dish served at the event will be made by students from the Philabundance Community Kitchen who were mentored by 10 local and celebrity chefs! The gathering will start at 6pm for general admission, and 5pm for VIP guests. Join in on the fun and grab your tickets today, here! 
  • FitRetreat Pre Party– Meet the City Fit Girls at City Sports on Walnut Street at 7pm for the chance to shop with a 20% discount, and mingle with other participates of the FitRetreat. You will also be able to enjoy drinks and snacks, meet the event sponsors (including Spodee Wine, Sweet Green, and Ryan Crown Juice Club) and instructors, and also pick up your registration for the FitRetreat!  This event is open to public. 

 Saturday, August 23rd

  • City Girls FitRetreat- A full day of fitness begins at 8am at Impact Hub Philly and continues on until 2pm! Mingle with other fitness gurus, eat healthy food, and participate in a variety of fitness workshops, all for $25 dollars! For tickets, click here! 
  • Sunset Wine Cruises: Exploring Local Wines of PA & NJ – Hop aboard the Patriot where you will learn everything you need to know about local wines, while soaking up the sun and taking in the unique views of Philadelphia, all from the river! For tickets, follow this link!  

Sunday, August 24th

  • Burlesque Lessons at Revel in AC- Learn how to burlesque dance in either a private, or group setting before Revel closes. Tickets for the 1pm slot are $75 dollars each and are open classes that include an hour and a half lesson with a Royal Belly dancer, a free take-home feather boa, and champagne for the party.
