As we continue the celebration of women this #WomensHistoryMonth, the conferences and symposiums highlighting influential women are one of many things to look forward to this week. Monday March 15

- As we celebrate Women’s History Month, influential and powerful women continue to spread knowledge, encouragement and support among one another! Natalie Pederson, a professor at Drexel University, will be addressing pressing women’s rights including pregnancy, pay inequalities and so much more. This free event is from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
Tuesday March 16
- The Online Actor Training Studio is offering free virtual acting classes from 6 pm.m to 9 p.m.! At this class, you can learn film and television acting from the comfort of your own home. The class offers a plethora of topics from acting technique to setting up a home studio! From a beginners level to an advanced level, there’s also room to grow and accelerate your acting career!

This conference will be celebrating over five years of work on the In Her Own Right Project. The event will be held virtually with Martha S. Jones as the keynote speaker.
Friday March 19
- The celebration of women continues with the virtual poetry series She Came to Slay: Envisioning A World Where We All Are Free. Join Trapeta Mayson and Eric Marsh on Zoom from 7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. These women will be discussing topics like freedom, women empowerment and underestimated Black women throughout history.
Saturday March 20
- Moshulu is hosting Roaring 20’s Murder Mystery Dinner from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. This epic event is perfect for date night!! The ticket will include a three-course meal, drink and gratuity, but the most exciting part of the dinner will be the entertainment.
