For the last 9 years I’ve lived and worked in Center City, and I have loved every minute of it. Philadelphia is full of amazing neighborhoods, diverse people, and really exciting events.
Philly PR Girl began because I have always been the person my friends and family ask, “What’s a good restaurant in town?” or “What’s a good bar to take my out-of-town friend to?” So in 2010, www.PhillyPRGirl.com was launched to highlight businesses, events, festivals, concerts, and much more in the City of Brotherly Love.
After starting this site, I wanted to create more opportunities to network. Using my event planning skills, I began to host networking events in Philadelphia and they have been a hit! I’m so proud of the fact that I’ve had a hand in bringing talented individuals together. Through my events I have built a solid network of media contacts, PR & social media professionals, and just all around great people in Philly.
In 2012, I started using my PR & planning background to build awareness and branding for small businesses and major events in Philadelphia. Philly PR Girl became Philly PR Girl LLC. We have been involved in some big events and have built a great network. Launching a business has been so exciting, and I’m looking forward to continuing to work with good people and fabulous events.
My career in Philadelphia began working for one of Philadelphia’s top radio stations. I had the time of my life and met some of my best friends! I have experience in Non-Profit Management and Meeting Planning. In the summer of 2013 I started a new chapter in my life and am now the Social Media Director for a company called Bevelwise. Expect to hear a lot about them this year! We have big things planned.
