Monday, January 29

  • A FREE Workshop! Taxes for Artists will begin at 6 p.m. at The Rotunda. Hosted by Vision Driven Artists, this event is designed to alleviate fears during tax season and “maximize opportunities beyond grants to support your projects.”
  • Bring your little ones to Amrita Yoga and Wellness for Toddler Yoga with Erin Zuccaro. Help your young yogis find their inner gurus through songs, moves, and imagination!
  • At Cavanaugh’s Rittenhouse every Monday at 6:30 p.m. is Quizzo night! Grab your team of up to eight for great food drink specials, team prizes, and the most challenging questions in the city.

Tuesday, January 30

  • What No One Tells You About Negotiating (Free Teleclass with Amy Trask) hosted by the Pennsylvania Conference for Women* begins at 1 p.m. (EST).  This event will focus on communication and collaboration in order to reach an agreement in any negotiation.

Wednesday, January 31

  • The POWER Emerging Leaders Circle Series presents Pregnancy, Reproductive Health and Work. Being a mother and a professional in the the workplace does not have to be an “either or” choice. Thursday, February 1

  • African American History Month begins Feb 1st. Throughout the month, The National Constitution Center will honor African American history with a variety of exhibitions and activities.
  • Not Yet Rated: An Improvised Movie happens every Thursday at Philly Improv Theater. Unlike anything you’ve seen before, with just given a few words, these talented actors create an action movie right on the spot!

Friday, February 2

  • Juilliard-trained trumpeter Jumaane Smith will perform jazz classics by Louis Armstrong, Louis Prima, and Louis Jordan as well as original compositions for First Friday! “Louis, Louis, Louis.” Don’t miss this jumpin’ night!
  • Head over to  Broad Street Bullies Pub at Xfinity Live! and get ready for a truly unique experience. Silent Disco allows you to fully immerse yourself in a night of music, dance, and drinks!
  • Torc on Tap First Friday! The yoga class at TORC Yoga will begin at 6 p. m. followed by refreshments and time to socialize with other yogis. Don’t miss it!

Saturday, February 3

  • Join the The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University for the opening weekend of their new exhibit, Crocs: Ancient Predators in a Modern World!
  • It’s A Guy Thing (in Philly from NYC!) brings you two female comedians who just don’t get “guy stuff.” They invited some all-star comedians to give them some laugh-out-loud insight at the Good Good Comedy Theater!
  • Sled Skating at the Rothman Ice Rink makes skating accessible for everyone. Adults and children with disabilities can reserve a sled and enjoy a fun filled night. Reservations are required so plan ahead!
