Monday, October 23

  • Cheer on the Philadelphia Eagles as they take on NFC East rivals, Washington Redskins! The game starts at 8:30 p.m.
  • Stay Dead is an improvised horror comedy that incorporates scenes from classic horror films into one live show. Get in the Halloween spirit and buy your tickets to this spooky show before they’re gone.

Tuesday, October 24

  • Saxby’s Headquarters is hosting another Global Philly* 2017 event. Create-adelphia by Campus Philly has a goal to connect students who are ready to work, with organizations who are ready to hire. Enjoy light bites and free Saxby’s coffee beginning at 5 p.m.
  • Tattooed Momedy includes comedians of all genres from all over the country. The free show full of laughter starts at 8 p.m.
  • The Flyers are taking on the Anaheim Ducks at Wells Fargo Center. Cheer on the home team at the game, which starts at 7 p.m.

Wednesday, October 25

  • We’re officially into the basketball season! Secure your seats now for the Philadelphia 76ers game as they face off the Rockets. The game tips off at 7 p.m.
  • The Wilma Theater presents, Blood Wedding. Consisting of magical realism and tragedy, this remake of the Spanish classic fits right in at its new home for the next few weeks.
  • Listen to 2016 DNC speaker Khizr Khan as he discusses his new memoir, An American Family. The book mentions Khan’s and his family’s wish to attain the American Dream along with the importance of well-known U.S documents. A copy of the book is included when you purchase a ticket.
  • Calling all artists and art organizations! CultureWorks is partnering up with Vision Driven Artists for Challenging the Starving Artist Narrative, a new monthly workshop series. It’s  geared towards the arts, heritage, and creative communities.

Thursday, October 26

  • Together Live is stopping by the Kimmel Center for one night only. From leaders, athletes, celebrity guests, and more, attendees can expect inspiring interviews and conversations about building our communities and taking action.
  • Lo-Fi Aperitifs has partnered with Front Street Café and Norris Square Community Alliance to host a happy hour, from 5 p.m to 7 p.m, benefiting those affected by Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. There will be raffles, as well as food and drink specials with a portion of all proceeds donated. Attendees are encouraged to bring donation items for an additional chance to win!
  • Philadelphia magazine presents their annual Whiskey & Fine Spirits Festival. Enjoy 200+ premium distilled spirits including whiskey, scotch, vodka, handcrafted cocktails, and much more with some delicious bites from Philly’s finest restaurants.

Friday, October 27

  • Kick off your Halloweekend at the known to be haunted Pennhurst Asylum!* Dare to enter their recently opened attraction “Containment” along with the three other frightening buildings.
  • Get ready for one of the biggest concerts that takes over the Wells Fargo Center once a year! Powerhouse 2017 features Rick Ross, Meek Mill, French Montana, Travis Scott, Migos, Cardi B, and much more.
  • Distinguished Women in Business presents Pink The Runway 2017. This charitable fashion event supports Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition and women of all shapes and size. The breast cancer awareness begins with a Survivor’s Walk, followed by the fashion show and a live musical performance.

Saturday, October 28

  • The Mexican Consulate in Philadelphia, The Mexican Cultural Center, and the Penn Museum are presenting this Day of the Dead celebration. Explore the Mexican culture from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with music, dancing, arts, crafts, and so much more.
  • Walk with a purpose at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night Walk raises money for patient’s treatments that save numerous lives a day. Register or donate today!

Sunday, October 29
