Monday, July 31

  • Don’t miss this magical birthday celebration at the Victoria Freehouse. Harry Potter Birthday Happy Hour features $5 house potions, $8 tinctures, and butter beer to celebrate the wizard’s birthday!

Tuesday, August 1

  • Put your skills to the test at Morgan’s Pier Game Night. Invite the squad to bingo at 6 p.m. and quizzo and baggo both at 8 p.m. Play for the chance to win FREE drinks and more!  
  • Raise a glass during Happy Hour Wine Tasting at Pinot Boutique. Specials at the newly renovated bar include $3 off glasses of wine, $1 off beers, and $1 snack items.  

Wednesday, August 2

  • Join the Monster Milers at the Fun Run and Happy Hour at Good Dog Bar. Start off the night with a 3 mile run with fellow Philly runners. Then, relax at happy hour!  
  • Rumor Nightclub and Lounge is keeping the summer nights going at Sips After Dark. Entry is free every Wednesday during Sips season! The party features $5 cocktails, $4 wines, $3 beers, and more.

Thursday, August 3

  • The 6th Annual BlackStar Film Festival August 3-6. Philadelphia is celebrating the visual and storytelling traditions of the African diaspora. Festival events include storytelling workshops, film screenings, and panel discussions.  
  • Parks on Tap will be stationed on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway at Aviator Park. Grab a drink at the beautiful city green space. Be sure to snap a picture with the public artworks.

Friday, August 4

  • Smooth Jazz Summer Nights are back for the 21st season! Each summer, live music takes over the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing. This season kicks off with a performance by Fourplay.
  • Summer in Philadelphia is incomplete without 90s hip-hop music. Summertime: In/Outdoor 90s Dance Party at FringeArts is a FREE dance party playing strictly 90s music all night long!
  • Catching an free outdoor screening of a sci-fi classic at Clarks Park. University City District is screening E.T the Extra Terrestrial at 8 p.m. Bring blankets, chairs, and snacks.
  • Siempre Salsa Philly hosts First Friday Salsa Night at The Piazza at Schmidt’s Commons. Dance the night away with live salsa music. Free classes begin at 7 p.m.

Saturday, August 5

  • Insane Inflatable 5K is coming to Citizens Bank Park. This 5k has definitely earned its name. Experience the world’s largest and most extreme inflatable obstacle course featuring 3.1 miles of slides, walls, and speed bumps!
  • Philly Bikefest 2017 returns to the Philadelphia Cycle Center for another year. Learn more about safe riding from motorcycle industry professionals, biker enthusiasts, clubs, and experienced riders. The day features an opening show, guest speakers, and vendors.
  • Dierks Bentley’s What the Hell Tour features performances by Cole Swindell and Jon Pardi. The guys are all coming to BB&T Pavilion starting at 7:00 p.m.
  • Moshulu hosts a throwback party unlike any other. All aboard the ship at 10 p.m. for a dance party featuring the 90-00s hits by the Spice Girls, Britney Spears, Destiny’s Child, Daft Punk, and many more!

Sunday, August 6

  • Summer festival season is not over yet. The 2nd Street Festival in NoLibs features 3 performance stages, 8 beer gardens, and more than 250 vendors. This day-long festival has fun and games for the entire family.
  • Stop by the second floor of Tattooed Moms for the Philly Vegan Pop Mini Flea. Indulge in vegan eats, treats, and crafts. Vendors include Inspire, Cavallucci Chocolates, Mommy Nature, and more!
  • Ghost Hunts USA has selected Eastern State Penitentiary as the next location for a ghost hunt! If you’re brave enough to spend a night at the city’s most haunted location, the hunt begins promptly at 7:45 p.m. Pre-ordered tickets are required.
