Monday, July 3

  • Wawa Welcome America and the Kimmel Center present Broadway Philadelphia on Independence Mall during Philadelphia’s Historic District Block Party. Enjoy the 90 minute free musical celebration featuring songs from 11 of Broadway’s most popular shows: Wicked, The Phantom of the Opera, Aladdin, and more!  
  • Enter Castle Citizens Bank Park for Game of Thrones theme night! This is not the average Phillies game. The battle for the seven kingdoms will commence at 7:05 p.m.

  • Center City District Parks presents Grow Up Green at Sister Cities Park for camping-themed fun for children ages 3 and up. All attendees receive an activity book to explore the park, their imagination, and cognitive skills.
  • When we thought happy hour couldn’t get any better, Center City Sips pops up at Dilworth Park! This Center City oasis features outdoor seating, $3 beer, $4 wine, $5 Effen cocktails, and live DJ.

Thursday, July 6

  • Thanks to councilman David Oh, comedian Kevin Hart’s birthday is now an official day in Philly! “Kevin Hart Day” is meant to celebrate all that Hart has given back to his hometown. The free public celebration will feature a mural dedication from Mural Arts Philadelphia at Max’s Steaks and much more!
  • Bring the kids and join the Academy of Natural Science of Drexel University for Nature in the Park at Sister Cities Park for a fun-filled day of jurassic activities!  
  • OmSlay Yoga is back! Revamp your yoga practice with live 2000s R&B and Hip Hop by DJ Dilemma. Mairin Matthews will lead a 60 minute class in the Philadelphia Room at Hard Rock Cafe.

Friday, July 7

  • Parks on Tap has moved to West Fairmount Park. The Shofuso Japanese House and Garden will be home to the travel beer garden this week. This nationally-ranked traditional-style Japanese house features a koi pond, teahouse garden, and courtyard.  
  • Attention Flyers fans: Flyers Open 2017 Development Camp has arrived. All on-ice sessions are free and open to the public at the Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone. Be one of the first fans to witness 40 prospects in action!
  • Celebrate Cuban culture at World Cafe Live’s Havana Nights. Taste authentic Cuban cuisine, cocktails, and music by Philly’s own Cuban band, Conjunto.
  • Looking to escape the city heat island style? Adventure into the Island Escape Room at the Franklin Institute. Prepare for 60 minutes of surprises, twists, and turns!

Saturday, July 8

  • Second Saturday Sketch is a weekly workshop to explore your artistic side. Drop in to the Rodin Museum and sketch. Materials are provided after admission.
  • Ease on down to the Merriam Theater as the Kimmel Center presents the ShowStoppers Musical Theater Camp production of The Wiz.
  • Join the kick-off celebration for Concilio’s 36th Annual Hispanic Fiesta at the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing to unite and raise awareness of the Latino community and culture. Enjoy music, entertainment, food, and much more.
  • Stop by XFINITY Live! Before heading over to Citizens Bank Park for the Phillies Gameday Party. Mix and mingle with Phillies alumni, win prizes, and enjoy food and drink specials as the Phillies battle the San Diego Padres.

Sunday, July 9

  • Love Now Media’s Citywide Series of Love presented Love + Body, Love Themed YogaTree with Helanah and Afrofusion with Sanchel Brown at Sound Space. Spend the day spreading love and reconnecting to your higher purpose through yoga and dance.  
  • Park’s on Tap kicks off Twilight Music Festival on Martin Luther King Drive. This weekly musical event will bring live bands to the west bank of the Schuylkill for eight consecutive Sundays!
