Monday, June 19

  • Start your week on the right foot. Meet at Franklin Square for a Yards fun run across the Ben Franklin Bridge and end at the brewery. The special happy hour specials are $5 admission gets you $3 drinks, which helps benefit Ella’s Retreat.
  • Looking to start a new career? Stop by the live hiring event at Four Points by Sheraton hotel. The Philadelphia Job Fair features dozens of local jobs and employment opportunities.
  • Jason Isbell, songwriter and former member of southern rockers Drive-By Truckers, performs at the Fillmore Philadelphia with his band the 400 Unit.

Tuesday, June 20

  • Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation host their 12th Annual Great Chefs Event. Host chef, Marc Vetri, has invited 40 of the best culinary superstars to Philadelphia from across the country and around the world. Wine, dine, and help find a cure for childhood cancer.
  • Grammy Award winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member, Neil Diamond celebrates 50 years in music. The 50th Anniversary Tour hits the Wells Fargo Center. Neil will perform his 3 CD 50th Anniversary collection.

Wednesday, June 21

  • The city is ready for a musical celebration. Make Music Philly is a day-long free musical event featuring concerts on the streets, sidewalks, and parks around the city.
  • The Walnut Club is hosting a three part event. This Sip, Shop, and Speaker Event will be held at the REALM Fine+Fashion Jewelry studio in Old City. Shop the one-of-a-kind jewelry line created by Ann King Lagos and Toni Renée Leslie while sipping on complimentary champagnes, wines, and whiskeys.
  • What are essential oils and how do I use them? Chelsea Webb will lead an essential oil workshop at Hot Yoga Philadelphia.* Essential Oils 101 Young Living will answer all of these questions and more.
  • Join Chef Damon Menapace and Butcher Jake Wilson at Kensington Quarters as they break down a side of one of their woodlot-raised pigs. Learn unique butchering techniques, various cuts, and some great cooking methods.

Thursday, June 22

  • It’s the Finals competition of the summer-favorite event, Dunkel Dare, at Frankford Hall. Cheer on the teams with celebrity host, Marc Summers. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and the games begin at 7 p.m.
  • Head over to the Piazza at Schmidts for the official 76ers Draft Party as the home team makes the No. 1 overall pick of the 2017 season. Starting at 6 p.m., the first 500 people will receive a free limited edition t-shirt.
  • As much as we love the city, we equally love the shore. The Philadelphia History Museum hosts Cocktails in the Courtyard: Summer ‘Down the Shore in Old City. Represent your favorite seaside town while enjoying coastal-themed cocktails, live music, and delicious beach bites.
  • Kick off summer 2017 at Citizens Bank Park. Cheer on the Philadelphia Phillies as they battle against the Saint Louis Cardinals.

Friday, June 23

  • Kick off summer at Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest’s Midway grand opening. The carousel will makes its first spin of the season. Try the new rides, arcade games, the roller skating rink, mini-golf course, and much more.
  • We all know that Philadelphia loves beer, and it’s time to welcome a new beer garden into the neighborhood. Cedar Park Pentridge Station Beer Garden is now open! The beer garden is located at 5112-5120 Pentridge Street and will operate Thursdays through Sundays until September 16.
  • Bask within the glistening walls of Philadelphia Magic Garden’s June Twilight in the Gardens. Enjoy an evening of live music and art-making with the band Whiskeyhickon Boys and artist Sam Mera. Pick your favorite spot and enjoy the picnic-style BYOB (and snacks) event.
  • Fridays don’t slow down for exercise enthusiasts at Philadelphia Runner. Sign up for Rock N’ Run Philly slow run between 2.6 to 4 mile run. Run to Go Vertical and enjoy two hours of climbing/bouldering.
  • Rock out to the country tunes of Lady Antebellum, as they bring their You Look Good Tour to the BB&T Pavilion. The lineup also includes Kelsea Ballerini and Brett Young.

Saturday, June 24

  • To mark the 100th anniversary of Andrew Wyeth’s birth, the Andrew Wyeth: In Retrospect exhibit opens at Brandywine River Museum of Art. Explore how the iconic artist’s work has evolved over the decades.
  • This year’s is the 28th Annual Manayunk Art Festival. The two-day event will feature nearly 300 artists on historic Main Street in Manayunk.
  • World Cafe Live’s traveling beer garden will be at West Laurel Hill Cemetery* from 3 to 6 p.m. Grab a beer, check out local vendors, and sample from a selection of amazing food trucks. The beer garden is easily accessible from the Manayunk Art Festival.
  • Summer Ale Festival, presented by Constellation, is back for another year of speciality brews, animals, live entertainment, and more! Combine your love for beer with memories at the Philadelphia Zoo. All tickets include evening admission to the zoo.

Sunday, June 25

  • TORC Yoga* hosts their final Power Yoga pop-up on the Philadelphia Art Museum steps. The event is free to the public but RSVP is recommended. Keep an eye out  for the TORC Yoga studio grand-opening later this summer!
  • The Color Run Dream Tour, presented by Lay’s, is coming to Philadelphia. Don’t miss out on the chance to run in “The Happiest 5K on the Planet.” Prepare to get beautifully messy.
