Dads love sports, and the Phillies love dads just as much! On Sunday, take dad out to the ball game for the ballpark’s Father Appreciation Day. While the team is putting in work on the field against the Arizona Diamondbacks, chill out with dad with hot dogs, peanuts and beers in hand.

What better way to end the evening than to pig out? If dad has an appreciation for good old-fashioned barbeque, don’t make him do the grilling on Sunday. Come down to Kensington Quarters in Fishtown from 5 to 9 p.m. where they’ll take care of it for you. The restaurant will be hosting a Father’s Day barbeque on their back patio for $30 per person. Executive Chef Damon Menapace will be roasting a whole pig along with grilling sausages, chicken, and sides.

Start the day off with brunch or end it with dinner at The Co-Op Restaurant and Lounge. Brunch features our favorite varieties of sweet and savory. Pair your food with a choice of a Bloody Mary with vodka or Maria with tequila. Both menus are full of mouthwatering and healthy dishes prepared with fresh and flavorful ingredients. Weekend brunch runs from 10 a.m to 3 p.m. Dinner starts at 5 p.m. and runs until 10 p.m.

Take a visit to your local Philly beer garden to chat it up with dad over a cool brew and entertainment, whilst surrounded by cool cityscapes or lush greenery.
