Monday, January 16

  • Free People teams up with The Chalkboard Mag for their third annual worldwide FP Lets Move event tour. The Philly homebase stop will feature yoga by Maria Margolies, Mudra meditation with the Human EVO Project, and food & health consultations with Jolene Hart.
  • Take the kids out to XfinityLive! for Family Movie Night with a free screening of Secret Life of Pets. The movie will be shown on almost 100 TV screens throughout the venue. Starting at 5 p.m., there will be tons of kids’ games, activities, crafts, and great prizes to win. The movies starts at 6 p.m. with free popcorn.

Tuesday, January 17

  • Build your business connections with IBA* ConnX at their monthly LGBTQA networking mixer at Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union.
  • Celebrate all things Eagles with the Claddagh Fund of Philadelphia and Pro Football Hall-of-Famer, Ray Didinger at the organization’s Inaugural Community Hero Dinner. This year’s hero is our favorite defensive end, Connor Barwin, for the work with his organization, Make the World Better Foundation.

Wednesday, January 18

  • Head to the Walnut Street Theater for an evening of laughs at Neil Simon’s Laughter On The 23rd Floor play. Now until March 5, audiences will get a look at the hilarious happenings inside a writer’s room of a hit 1950’s TV comedy show.
  • Kensington Quarters boasts more than just local meats. Chef Damon Menapace hosts a pasta making class to teach attendees how to make fresh pasta dough, prepare a ragu, make different types of raviolis and other pasta shapes.

Thursday, January 19

  • The Kings of Leon are coming to town to perform tracks off their new album, Walls. This highly-anticipated show starts at 7:30 p.m.  at the Wells Fargo Center.
  • Journey around the world through the History of Cabaret with a culinary pairing from La Peg. From Paris to Berlin and beyond, John Jarboe, artistic director of the Bearded Ladies Cabaret, will guide you on an artistic journey.
  • Attention beer lovers! The folks from Guinness will be at Bridget Foy’s to make personalized pint glasses for you. The bar will be equipped with an etching machine on-site to do it for free with purchase of a pint.

Friday, January 20

  • The Philly Home Show is still in town, so head to the Convention Center this weekend! Get top industry tips and trends from HGTV and DIY Network stars, bloggers, and industry professionals. Exclusive events, such as the Make-it, Take-it workshops, have created a hands-on experience for attendees. Free parking is available from the South Philly IKEA via Philly Phlash shuttles.
  • The Barnes Foundation hosts a glitzy evening for their Young Professionals’ Winter Shimmer fête. As the party’s name suggests, guests are encouraged to dress to shine as they rediscover all that glitters in the art collections.

Saturday, January 21

  • Join the Million Women March on Washington, and around the country at sister marches, as they gather peacefully to protect their civil liberties, civil rights, and equality. Philadelphia’s march will begin on the Ben Franklin Parkway at 10 a.m. All are welcome regardless of race, gender, age, ethnicity, religious affiliation, political party, immigration status, sexual identity or orientation.
  • Enjoy an afternoon of imagination with the family. Kids are invited to celebrate wintery pirate and princess adventures on the Rothman Rink. There will also be crafts, face painting, and more.

Sunday, January 22
